It's fall and very cold outside. The leaves have fallen, no trace of kids playing in the playground. Little town, what once was full of laughter and cheeriness, is now a lonely town, quiet, and stable. Maybe it's due to the season. It really doesn't matter anyways, hardly anyone is nice to each other in this town. I live in "New Springs little town" it's barley seen in maps but it's near New York. The population in this town is 3,000 people. I've lived here since I was born. Fun.
I've had a struggle debating weather I should get up and go to school. But ofcourse I got up because it was Friday, last day. See I'm a senior in high school, 18 years old to add. I havnt really planned what I want in my future. I'm not that type of person. Everyone has their collage picked out, and then there's me, I don't even know if I want to go to collage..
Anyways, I get up and take a long hour shower, hot ofcourse. I get ready and do my make up and pick out a casual outfit, (flannel and leggings with uggs) because I feel like being a white girl today. I go down stairs were my family awaits me in the kitchen eating breakfast.
"Hey goodmorning" I said.
"Goodmorning, eat and hurry . We are late" mom said
Here's the thing about my parents, they are those "parent goals" people love , they are so down to earth and chill about everything. They're my best friends. It's awkward but I love them. One thing though, is that ever since I was born people in this town had bullied me saying I don't look like my parents and that I'm adopted. Of cores I've considered that option, I mean I have black hair , my skin color is caramel and I have dark brown eyes. My parents however, they are blue eyed, dirty blond hair, and white skin colored. I know I was adopted because they told me. However, we never spoke about it because I wasn't interested, to me I was their blood.
