take it as you please..

I wake up to a strange noise in my bedroom. It's a tapping but I can't find the strength to open my eyes wide enough. All I see is a dark shadow and blurry bright lights. It's so hard to see so I rub my eyes and try to open them a little more. To my surprise it's my dad putting his phone flash in my face.
"Dad... What are you doing" I say groggy as I sit up in my bed.
"Well I wanted to take you out to eat breakfast today, it's Saturday" he says happily
"Yeah I know dad.. But what's with the flash?" I say still confused
"No times for questions missy... Get dressed I'll meet you in 30 minutes downstairs" he says as he starts to walk out my room. When I think he's finally gone he comes back once more. "30 minutes I say women!" He yells in a joking manner.
I laugh and get out of bed. I sit down on my bed for a minute trying to regain my strength and energy. I stay staring at the floor for about 3 minutes before I get up and pick out what I will wear. It's still cold outside so I just decide to wear some jeans and a hoodie. I get in the shower first as I soak my body in warm hot water for about 10 minutes. It feels nice kinda made me want to sleep again. But I wake up and get out.
As I'm walking downstairs I see my mom and dad by the front door getting their coats , ready to head out.
"There's my sweet baby" my mom says with a big smile as she walks towards me with her arms stretched out as to give me a hug.
"Goodmorning mommy," I say. Even though I'm 18 I still get I treated like a baby because to them "I'm always going to be their baby" (specially my dad)
We head out the door and I asked my dad if I could drive us there , for practice you know until I get my car. He agrees and I drive.
"everyone have their seat belts on?... This is a dangerous hazard we have behind the steering wheels my friends" my dad says trying to make fun of my driving
"Oh shut up dad I don't drive bad" I say laughing through my words
"Last week you almost ran over three trees" he says
"But did you die?" I question him
"No" he adds
"Ok then we have no problem.. Now let's go have fun and enjoy the rides ladies and gentlemen" I say in a happy tone
"WOAHHHHH!" My parents scream in a happy way.

We get to the restaurant and I pick a table to sit at. I like booths so I take my chances with one. The waiter brought our menus . And before I can look up at who it was I recognized his voice . I look up and to my surprise it's Erin.
"Erin" I say in shock
"Oh hey moon girl!" He says with a big smile.
"Hey, you work here?" I say in a giggle
"Yeah Saturday's and Sunday's" he says . 
"You two know each other" my dad states
"Oh yeah! Mom dad , this is Erin, erin these are my parents" I say
"Hi nice to meet you sir and ms. What's your last name again sorry moon girl didn't tell me" he says jokingly
"Mast, our last name is mast" my mom says with a smile
Erin takes our orders and leaves.
"Wow he's very gentlemen like" my mom says with a wink and smile
"Haha mom stop he's just a friend I met in detention" I say to her now regretting it.
"Why'd you get detention" my mom snaps
"I was ..... Uh..... Sleeping in class" I say in a panic
"Just for sleeping in class? What a bunch of retards" my mom says
"Your not mad?" I ask
"No hunny, that's pretty dumb on their part not yours" they both say.
We revive our foods and finish while we converse about our week and collage. My dad ask Erin to bring the check and so he does. I say my final goodbyes to him and so do my parents.

I get back home and just read my book. I was reading "the skin I'm in" which is a really great book. I love to read books. You can say I'm a "book worm" and what not. I was halfway through the book when my phone starts to ring. I have an iPhone 6 and my cover is just a transparent case. I pick up and saw that Katie was calling me .
"Hello?" I answer wondering what she wants
"What's up? " she says
"Nothing just reading. And you?" I say
"Ugh your always reading nerd... And nothing here pretty bored.... Hey has that guy texted you?" She asks
"What guy" I say in confusion
"The one I told you about? That I gave your number to... Remember..." She says
"Oh yeah, but uh no he hasn't" I say
"Wow really? That's pretty weird he seemed to have been really into you when I gave him your number.
"Do you even know the guy's name?" I ask
"Nope but he was cute so why not right?" She giggles
We continue to talk about school and all the guys in her life. I was getting a bit tired half way into our convo and decided  to tell her that I'll call her tomorrow.  I fell asleep for a while.

"Luna.... It's me .... Your mom." A woman says
"Mommy?" I say
"No your real mom. . Mary." She says
"Mary? My real mom is Jamie (my adoptive mothers name)" I say in confusion
"No I'm your blood mother .... Please come find me" she says "I love you.... I've been looking for you since they took you from me" she says
"No I can't , I don't know where you are" I say
"You'll find your way hunny, just follow the journey" she says .
