CH. 2 The Club House

Aru's POV

It was 3:20pm and Erynn still hadn't showed up. I was about to leave and give up when I heard a sound from inside the library. "Um, who's that guy outside?" Said a girl voice. "Dunno been out there a while though" some other girl added. "Hello out there?" A guy asked. "Uh hey, is Erynn in there??" I asked.

Erynn's POV

"Erynn there's a guy outside asking to see you" Ben told me. "He's really tall!" Charlotte (Charlie) exclaimed. I was surprised that Aru actually showed up. I was so happy but tried my best not to show it to everyone else in the room. I quickly walked to the door where Aru was looking through the glass. I opened the door and invited Aru in. "Welcome! Have you come to join the club?" I asked. "Obviously" he replied laughing. "Ok so you'll be on trial for a week. If you do something to lose our trust or ruin our rep we'll kick you out with no hesitation" Charlie said. He seemed to understand and we gave him a tour of the "House" which was basically just a basement with lots of computers, laptops and gaming equipment. Nothing to special, but Aru loved it by the look of his face.

Aru's POV
The House was amazing! Erynn looked happy to see me so excited and I felt a bit stupid walking around with my jaw dropped in awe. "So who made all this?" I asked. "Everyone has made their input. It took about a year to get access to the internet and sneak some computers in but we managed to do it, as you can see" Ben said looking proud. "Is Erynn the leader?". " Yeah I guess she is, I mean she keeps everything in order but we kinda just do our own things and follow our own rules" "So how often should I show up here?" "Whenever you want to really, except during school time obviously". We finished walking around and I got assigned an area to make mine. " So what's with this trial thing" I asked Ben. "Well basically if you're good after the week we'll get you a key so you can come in any time. Usually someone is in here after school everyday from about 3:05 to 7pm. BUT if you do something bad for example tell people where this place is, even teachers, then we won't give you a second chance" "sounds fair" "feel free to bring in anything to make your area". I didn't reply because Ben seemed like he wanted to do his own thing. "I'll go check out what everyone else has done, thanks Ben".

Charlie had used a 3D-Printer to make a model of some characters from her game, which was a first person RPG MMO shooter. Some guy called Leo had made a Virtual Reality helmet, inspired by the Sword Art Online. His area was covered in posters of SAO. A girl called Alex was working on projections and the ability to manipulate them with using a screen. The final person to check out was Erynn. Ben told me that his stuff was secret so I went to Erynn. I cleared my throat "Can I come in?". As soon as I spoke I heard a series of crashes, thuds and swear words. The curtain opened and Erynn was standing there. I hadn't really looked at her so I was silently blown away by how she looked. "Come in" she said. She turned and we walked in.
