Michael's p.o.v

''Mine '' i whispered in his ear as he lost conciousness i gently kissed his lips as i scooped him up in to my arms . I smiled as i looked down at his beautiful face i had finally found  him  the one i had been searching for all my life i had finally found my mate.

I pulled him close to my chest and breathed his scent in deeply  it was so rich it made me swoon. I slowly licked his cheek he tasted divine i wanted to take him right there and then  but first i had to take him to my  home there i would make him mine.

I ran my hands through my hair  and sighed  as i shut the car door i was pissed that i had to do things the way i did  but i was lucky to get there in time, if that son of a bitch had got him before me i don't know what i would have done. I looked around wary  of my surroundings i could smell  his scent all around he was close I  shuddered and got into the car quickly  i had to get kai  away from here and fast.

I quickly pulled out of the drive  and started to make my way back  to the ranch there  he would be safe my pack would  protect him and so would i . I had a lot of explaining to do he probably wouldn't believe  me at first but he would have no choice not if he wanted  to live. If that bastard got his hands on him god knows what  would happen  he would break kai in any way possible just to get to me i couldn't allow that to happen not to him my mate the one who was taken from me years ago.

We had been driving for  half of the night  when i suddenly felt  a presence close by i sensed their was more than one i put my foot down and drove as fast as i could hoping to out run them  but i was to late when a large red truck came out of no where side swiping the left side of my s.u.v. I lost control and ended up in a ditch i quickly checked on kai  thankfully he was still unconscious but unharmed . A car door slammed  and i heard two voices coming closer i climbed out of the car  and braced my self  killing these two was the only way  out  but before i could make a move i felt a burning pain in my stomach  there was a loud pop it was only when my knees gave way  i realized i had been shot  i looked up to see a dark shadow looming over me he grinned at me as his partner slammed the but of a shot gun in the back of my head making everything go black.

kai's p.o.v

 What is that ? my head hurts , i hear a loud pop and muffled voices  then it went quiet . Oh god what's happening  i feel something move beside me some thing's touching me I'm scared  why cant i see what's happening i feel a sting in my neck and slowly every thing drifted away  back to blackness.

The phone rang loudly it was one of my boys " i hope you have good news for me because if you let me down again i  wont be pleased". The voice on the other end assured me i wouldn't be disappointed in fact he had a surprise for me i listened intently a huge smirk slid across my face "both of them ..... yes that is good news  bring them to me now " i ordered before slamming down the phone excitedly. I ran my hand through my  messed hair and sighed finally i would have my revenge on high noon the pack i was cruelly banished from   and killing there alpha  and taking his mate was a dammed good way  to start.
