Sauls p.o.v

I chuckled as  i followed the alpha and the luna  up to their apartment. Our new luna was a feisty one and and i knew he was gonna run rings around Mickey ,and me being the great friend i was ! i was going to enjoy watching every minute  of it.

"Soooooo are you a werewolf too?"

He asked in a sarcastic manner that made me chuckle,  it was clear he wasn't completely convinced of what we were  but i was dam well sure that would change very soon.

"I am along with almost everyone else  here . We have about forty humans who are mated to other wolfs but the majority of us are wolfs."

"I see"

He replied dryly  as he stomped up the hall back towards the Alpha suite . I just chuckled and followed behind , yep i was certainly gonna enjoy watching this little guy turn my best friends world up side down.

Michaels p.o.v

We had spent the better part of the day  discussing  the new patrols  and  training regimes  for the  young wolfs that were almost of age . Saul being my Beta  trained the teens aged 13 to 18  readying them to become full fledged  warriors or trackers depending on their skill level .

My eyes kept wondering over towards kai every time i heard him huff or make a sarcastic remark concerning the conversation we were having. My temper was beginning to rise  and Saul was trying his damnedest not to laugh  which only pissed me off more.

My temper finally gave way when kai made a wise crack about us being well trained guard dogs causing me to shift right in front of him. Needles to say that was a bad idea  he completely freaked out and hit me over the head with a cast iron skillet resulting in me having a cracked skull and Saul having to tackle my feisty mate to the ground so he didn't finish me off. My mate finally calmed down long enough to escape to the bathroom and locked himself inside and ive been sat out side the door ever since.

" Kai please come out you have been in there for almost three hours how many times do i have to tell you that we are not going to hurt you. I'm sorry that i scared you but i don't like being referred to as a dog and my wolf really doesn't like it plus we were getting tired of you not believing us. He really just wanted you to know that we weren't insane or lying to you."

I repeated for the hundredth time as i let my head thud softly against the door.

"You tried to kill me  you lunged at me"

Okay my wolf was a little excited to meet his mate for the first time so he  tried to mount  him but from kai's point of view being terrified  he thought Jax my wolf was trying to kill him .I'm not sure telling him that Jax wanted to mate him would make him feel any better or any less afraid so i chose my words wisely  as i tried to explain. I had a feeling this wasn't the only time Jax was gonna push forward and do something stupid leaving me to clean up after the dam horny little shit  so i better start to practise my sucking up.

" Kai i swear  he wasn't trying to hurt you he just got excited. It was his first time meeting you he would never hurt you he loves you he just wanted to get to know you."

There was a long silence  and just as i was about to consider kicking the dam door open i heard a small click. He slowly opened the door and peaked out looking around cautiously.

"Your safe here i promise "

I held out my hand towards him and watched with bated breath as he slowly took my hand. His cheeks blushed a deep crimson as our hands connected making me hum in delight.  He slowly approached me stopping a foot in front of me he took a deep breath and looked up at me through his long eye lashes that framed his blue eyes perfectly.

"So what now?"

He asked calmly . A huge  grin slid across my face  as i looked down at his flushed face i pulled him in to my chest and wrapped my large arms around his slender frame .

"Well ........ i would really like to introduce you to the rest of the pack . After all you are the  future luna  and they are very curious and excited to meet you."

He pushed back from my chest and looked up at me warily.

" Are they gonna shift and lunge at me like you did"

He asked fearfully causing Saul to burst out laughing  from the living room. Dam werewolf hearing.

"No they wont do what Jax  did he was just excited to meet his mate "

He scowled at me and  pulled him self free from my embrace causing Jax to whimper . Kai looked up at me a little stunned  as the whimper passed my lips.

"what was the?"

My cheeks heated up slightly as i awkwardly scratched the back of my neck.

"Well Jax  didn't want you to pull away  he wants his mate "

I smiled as kai's pale skin turned a little flushed from my  awkward statement he looked so innocent  when he played shy but i knew better . He was  my feisty beautiful mate who could knock a grown ass Alpha on his ass if needs be and i was sure he was gonna make one hell of a luna.
