MICHAELS P.O.V
I moved quickly to catch kai as he fell to the ground the sight of the mutilated body behind me was to much for him i had tried to keep his eyes on me but failed. I laid him down gently on the ground and brushed the blonde hair back from his face my mate was beautiful i just hoped after all of this he didn't reject me hell id be lucky to even get him to look at me.
A loud click from outside the door got my attention i quickly pulled kai to the side of the door and lent him up against the wall and and turned off the light as i readied my self for who ever would enter.
The door slowly opened as a well built man slightly shorter than me entered the room his hand fumbled for the light switch giving me the opportunity to take him down.
I quickly snatched at his arm and yanked him in to the room causing him to scream out in shock. Slamming him hard against the wall and held him by the throat i could smell the fear rolling off him in waves. I'd be lying if i said it didn't excite me a little , hell it even made me a little hard.
The claws on my hand holding him tight by the throat began to elongate and dig deep into his throat he began to scream and gasp as blood gargled deep in his throat. Moving my hand quickly i ripped the flesh and tissue away leaving only a gaping hole. Stepping back i watched his lifeless body to slump slowly to the floor .
I bent down and quickly and removed his boots and trousers i was in need of clothing as mine were torn to shreds due to my earlier shift. After slipping them on quickly i pulled kai up in to my arms to make our escape.
I slowly made my way out of the door i could see we were in some sort of cellar as i came across a flight of stone steps. I stood for a moment and listened to the sounds in and around the building i breathed in deep catching the scent of another it was a familiar scent but i couldn't quite place it . As i slowly started to climb the stairs i heard the roar of a car engine i moved quickly up the stairs and through the house just in time to see the car speed out of the drive way. The fucking coward had ran but he would be one hell of a stupid fucker if he thought this was over no one goes after my mate and lives.
