AN-So, today was a lot like yesterday, just a boring, normal Saturday. But, one good thing did happen to me.
I pick up my phone to call my mother about dinner, scrolled through my contacts, select her cell number, and listen to the monotone ringing as my stomach gave off another loud rumble. Hope she picks up, because I am really hungry and want to eat now. I get voicemail, but don't bother to leave a message. She'll call me back. Just as I am setting the phone down, it vibrates in my hand, sending vibrations up my arm. I quickly answer to avoid as much of the unpleasant feeling as possible.
"Hey, mom, can I make myself some food?" I asked right away.
"No, we are having a family dinner tonight, but I have some really great news!" she said.
"What's the news?" I asked. I have no idea what she is talking about, and really wanted to know.
"You got into Algebra 1! Mrs. Donkin caled me today and told me you were in!" she exclaims. Cool, now I don't have to be stuck in Pre Algebra for the rest of the year.
I said to my mom, "Cool, anywho, I gotta go, dad needs me to help him fish wire."
" Okay, be good!" she replied.
"Yes, mom. Love you!" I said.
"Love you, too!" she intoned back.
Therewas silence as the line went dead. Iset the phone down and went to the kitchen to help my father.
AN- short, and not really that interesting or exciting, but now you know I got Algebra 1 without me having to explain it in an AN. Vote or comment please!
