Chapter 3
I woke up the next morning, actually wanting to go to school for a change. I changed into my outfit for the day which happened to be my white shirt with a blue skirt (http://www.polyvore.com/skye/set?id=84749009)
As soon as I got to school, I was greeted by Lila at our usual spot. She was wearing a turquoise high-low dress with brown wedges. (http://www.polyvore.com/lila/set?id=84861824).
"Hey." She said quickly. I had never seen Lila nervous before.
I asked her what's wrong. "Today is our first day of...training."
She said very cautiously. "OMG! I forgot it was training today!" "Yeah! It's really cool how-" She was cut off by the bell. We walked to our lockers to put our textbooks and binders in it.
Katarina happened to have a locker right next to us and dang her outfit was hella girly. I would picture her wearing all black but never a floral skirt and crop top! Well i guess the leather jacket gave her a badass look (http://www.polyvore.com/katarina/set?id=84865947).
Katarina came over to me and said "Hey, well i was wondering if you two could show me around cause I'm new?" "Su-" I was cut of when Zach, which happened to be one of the cutest boys in the school, also a player, and apart of the underschoolers, grabbed her ass and pushed her into the locker.
He smirked and said," Hey sexy." Katarina smiled and got really close to him and whispered in his ear. His smile turned into a frown and that when Katarina flipped him on the ground with a large thump. Everyone in the hall cracked up. Katarina motioned for us to follow her and we did, surprised and scared of what she could do.
We walked up to the old sprite machine,making sure no one was watching, and put in our cards. We went in, and was blown away all over again. I never thought I could be amazed after seeing something twice, but I proved myself wrong. "Are you ready for your first day of training?" Katarina asked. I replied "sure am! You're going to be the one training us, right?" "Actually, no. Your trainers are Nikki and tris. They have been here for alot longer than I have and you don't need to worry, they are super nice. Oh, and I probably will come to train with you guys once in a while. We headed over to the training room. A very pretty blonde with baby blue eyes approached us. "Hello my name is tris and-" "And I am Nikki." Another girl interrupted. "What I was GOING to say is and we are going to be your trainers." She says as she looks fiercely at the girl named Nikki.
We proceed to start with training. The first thing they had us do was train with guns. They had targets, and I kept missing. It was then that I noticed that is wasn't just Lila Katarina and I, but also Damon. He looked.... Flattering..... In this light. Almost... Cute. But, no. Never mind that. I kept on shooting and missing at the man-like figure. I looked around to see how good everyone else was doing. Damon was the only one that had actually hit the head of the target.
Next we did hand-to-hand combat practice. I was matched with Damon. I couldn't stop watching the way his long...black...flowing hair. And the way it glistened when he flipped it, no... I need to stay focused I don't want to become one of those obsessed girls that draw hearts with our names together, and plus I don't even really know him, he could be a total jerk.
We learned how to punch, and how to block a punch, but I probably didn't even pick any of it up, I was to busy staring at Damon who was wearing hot clothes.(http://www.polyvore.com/damon/set?id=84862651)
When training ended, I went over to Lila and Katarina," hey! Do you want to maybe go to the mall later?" "Sure." Katarina replied. "Umm, I guess. I have to do my homework first though." Lila added. "Cool! See you guys then?" "See you then." The rest of the day went my slowly except when I got yelled at by Mr. Pickkly.
When the bell rang I ran out of the school like it was on fire. When I walked down the steps, I had a unusual feeling. I looked around and saw a dark figure watching me. It moved and started to run when I looked at it, so I shrugged it off and went home. ======================================================
