Shoping with a chance of surprise and pain

I finished my homework right in time to go shopping. I grabbed my purse and texted Lila and Katarina that I was on my way.

I hopped into my red Prius and put on my Louis Vuttion sunglasses. I got on the freeway, luckily there was no traffic, and arrived earlier than i thought. I got there first, but a few minutes later Lila arrived in her white 2008 Prius, and Katarina arrived in her Ferrari.I asked her how she got the money for the car and she said "Being a spy gets you a lot of money. You will probably have enough money to buy 5 convertibles by the end of the year."

We walked in the mall and discussed where we should shop. I wanted to go to forever 21 but Lila wanted to go to H&M. I asked where Katarina wanted to go but she just said, "I have never gone to a mall, so I'm not sure."

Lila and I stared at her with wide eyes.

"What! You have never been to a mall?" Lila and I said in unison.

"No, I usally shop online, I've only been to a store once to follow a possible murder suspect."

Lila and I looked at each other and smiled. We both grabbed one of Katarina's hands and pulled her to the closest store, which happened to be Forever 21. Yes! I won the fight.

We walked in and instantly found some cute tops and shorts. I found a cute high-low top that was red and strapless. Lila fell instantly in love with a white lace see through top. Katarina looked beautiful in a mint green studded tank top.

We got in line to buy our clothes and after, we went to a small cafe next to forever 21. I got a mocha ice tea, which happened to be delicious. We all took a seat and discussed what we wanted to do next.

Lila said,"Did you really forget that the Homecoming Dance is next Friday Skye?!?"

"Oh yeah. Remember last time, I was pushed right into the punch bowl. Yeah, like that was fun. Plus we dont have any dates." I said the memories flashing through my head.

"True." Lila said, "But it also could be the best dance ever. Just because it happened last year doesn't mean it will happen again."

"Fine. We can shop for the dresses today, but it doesn't mean I'm going."

We walked through the mall after finishing our drinks and found a cute boutique.

We each split up and picked what we wanted to try on. Right when we walked in I saw this cute sparkly silver dress that went down to my feet with a small slit on my leg and I instanly fell in love with it. I picked my size and then walked around to see if there were any more dresses I wanted to try on. In all, I found 2 dresses that I liked and one that I wanted to try on for fun. I met with Lila and Kataina by the dressing rooms and we each tryed on our dresses. I first tryed on my sparkly silver dress that I liked.Lila was wearing a short sequined pink dress and Katarina was wearing a royal blue high-low strapless dress. They seemed like they were dissapointed with there dresses but when they looked at me they gawked.

"You look amazing in that Skye!" Katarina said.

" I think thats the one Skye, you look so great!" lila said

"Thanks guys, I think i'm gonna get this one, but I will try on the other two I got just to make sure."

The next dress I tried on was a huge pink dress that had ruffles everywhere and some sequins. I didn't like the dress, but I wanted to try it on to see how it looked on me. When I came out Lila and Katarina started to crack up.

"Don't I look sexy!" I said which made them crack up even more.

With as much sarcasm Lila said," Hell yeah. I like your dress that you have on WAY better then the one earlier."

I stoped to see Lila's and Katarina's dress. Lila's dress had sequins to her waist and then a white bottom that went to her knees. Katarina's high low dress was strapless and on the top it was black and the bottom was purple. The dress looked beautiful on her!

"Wow," I said to Katarina.

Lila looked at Katarina and said," That makes you look shmexy."

She smiled and turned to look at the mirror.

"I'm gonna go with this one." she said.

We went back into the changing room and I tried on the last dress that I have. It was to big and didn't look very cute on me so I just changed back into my clothes that I wore today. When I came out Katarina was in her clothes ready to buy the dress and Lila was wearing a strapless sweet heart dress that was red and went to her thighs and also, it had a belt that looked like chards of glass put together.

I instantly said ," That's no doubt the one." Katarina nodded and Lila walked back to the changing room. She came out a little while later in her clothes and we made our way to the check out.

After we were done we decided to go shoe shopping and get some makeup that went with our dresses.

When we were walking I got the feeling like someone was watching us. I was about to say something but was interrupted by Lila.

She said cautiously, " I feel like someone is watching us."

Katarina looked worried and started looking around the crowd circling around us and she said," I have felt it for a while but I just thought I was being paranoid."

"Follow me." Katarina told us. We turned around a corner, and making sure there was no people around she pulled out a little gun. She aimed it right at the corner, as a person came past it.

"WOAH," he jumped a little when he saw us there looking right at him.

He had brown hair and brown eyes. He was slender, tall, and cute if I say so myself.

I was expecting him to freak out when he saw the gun, but he said ," Kat, really a gun. You can put it down now."

"No, maybe I should just shoot you."

He had a smirk on his face, and there was obviously history between them.

He slowly approached Kat and put his hand on the gun pushing it down.

"Don't want to shoot a man with the gun he got you." He smiled as they kissed.  

"WHAT?!?! "

I'm super confused. Some random dude is following us and then he kisses Katarina, and she lets him?!?

"Guys," she turned around," this is my boyfriend Caleb."

"Caleb, these are my new friends Lila and Skylar."

"Hi guys," he said.

"Hi, nice to meet you" I replied

"Well I have to go but I will see you at school, I just enrolled."

"No way!" Kat exclaimed.

"Yeah way!" He said back.

"Bye guys," he said. Then he kissed kat and walked away.

"Soooo?What do you think of him!" Kat said in a super girly voice.

"Super hot," Lila said.

"He's pretty awesome." I said as we walked to go shoe shop.

"Oww," I yelped as something sharp pressed against my neck. I turned around but no one was there. I just shrugged it off and kept walking.

I still had a feeling that someone was watching me...

Sorry that it was kinda boring. But I promise that the next 2 chapters will be good. 😊
