I was half way to the school now. Only 4 more miles. I started to walk because I have been running for a while. The road was really busy so I didn't cross it yet. I tried to stay on the left side as long as I could until the school was on the other side of me. All the sudden a sound came from the woods. Looking over at the woods I saw someone running. It was hard to tell but it was coming close. I started to walk faster. There was a loud scream and right then and there, Rylee was coming for me. Running away from him I tried to get out my phone in my pocket. The button wouldn't undo. I started to sob witch made me slower. And Rylee caught up to me. He grabbed the front of my jacket and held me up at least a foot above the ground.
"Please...dont hurt me." I managed to get out.
"Oh, trust me. You will wish for something as sweet as pain." he gritted his teeth and threw me on the ground.
I got up and started running down the road. He was coming. There wasn't any cars in the road except a semi truck but I crossed the road just in time for it to be at least 100 yards away. Rylee took one step on the road and I knew that he would die. I closed my eyes and ran out in the road again. When I opened them again it seem like it was slow motion.
I pushed Rylee out of the way.
Our eyes met and he had a horrified look on his face.
I hoped he was happy now.................. because he watched me die.
He really was a murderer.
