After finding out Rylee was close, I finally got some sleep that didn't knock me out. While I was in bed there was a strange humming and beeping from the corner of the room. I sat up a little bit more and saw that there was a camera. I immediately felt embarrassed. I covered the blanket all the way up to my chin. I was frightened and scarred. Looking over to the door I saw a little crack.
maybe I could sneak out. I thought. I slowly got up and grabbed the glass of water by my night stand and slowly got out of bed. As soon as I got up I walked over to the camera and threw the cup at it. It hung its head as if looking down in defeat. I grabbed my crutches and walked over to the door. I looked at my boot. I didn't need my crutches to walk. I had the boot. I quietly threw them on the bed and they only clinked together once. I cringed and walked over to the door. The crack was still visible. I opened it with my pinkie and it opened a little more. There were no guards so I opened it half way and shut it behind me. I was out of the room. I sunk quietly down the hall and there was two ways to go. Right or left. I chose left. There was a door and a window. I looked out the window. It was only about 3 feet off the ground. I opened the door when a couple foot steeps entered the hall way. I opened the door, and closed it behind me.
"What are they going to do to that girl that's held captive?" one of them asked.
"Maybe kill her? I don't know." the other one said. The rest of what they said was just muffled. I backed up and ran into a man. I turned around to see A man holding a gun.
"Put your hands up girl!" He said in a whisper. Then every thing went black.
*Rylee's POV*
I was trying to find where I last put my motorcycle. I knew that it was In this area somewhere. I picked up a rock and threw it. When it hit the ground there was a metal clink. I looked over to see my motorcycle. I ran over to it and started it up.
"Yeah baby." I said. I rode it back to the road and headed in the direction that the men took her. I know that I was a jerk and that she never deserved it. But I needed to save her. She would probably die if I didn't.
"Stop thinking about it!" I said to myself. I went faster and faster as I was going. The thing was I didn't know where I was going. Like at all. I needed to find her but how? I pulled over to the side of the road and turned around. I went over to Chelsea's house. I didn't want to see Ayden or anything so I went to the back door. Her computer was right there by the back door. But when I came in, there was paramedics and police every where. I walked up to the police and said,
"Whats going on officer?"
"Hi Rylee, oh some neighbors called and told us that cops had been here and there was shooting and screaming." He said.
"Yeah I was coming here to see Chelsea, when two men came and took her in the cruiser and speed off leaving Ayden." The officer looked at me.
"Where the two men not wearing uniforms?" He asked.
"No sir."
"Rylee, would you like to be an under cover agent?" He asked me. The truth was I didn't want anything to do with the cops at the moment so I said,
"Um...how about you tell me where she is and I'll find her and bring her home. Cause honestly, I don't want to be an agent." I said looking at my shoes.
"I was afraid you would say that." There was a long pause. "Well meet me at my office and I'll tell you where she is." He turned away and left me alone in the empty house.
I went upstairs into Chelsea's room. It seemed like her. The curtains, the bed, the pictures. Everything. I sat on her bed looking out the window. Every memory that I ever had of her came rushing in. The date, the cookies, everything. I started to cry. I put my face in my hands and let the tears flow. I looked up out the window one last time.
"I'll find you Chelsea, don't worry." I said. And with that I ran out of the house and got on my motorcycle and headed for the county office. If there was a good place to start as any, it would be there.
