The Tale of Two

Twisted creatures prowl the night

Snatching children from your sight

Keep them close and hold them tight

Less they be taken to the Lady in White

At sunset people are filled with fear

And pray for those who they hold dear

But don’t utter her name in another’s ear

For the Lady’s minions will appear

Locked in her castle everyday

Cursed to forever sit and stay

She plans and thinks of different ways

To bring suffering and torment and make them pay

Long ago there was a battle bloody

And we have learn from ancient studies

It was started by to Ladies, who had power and money

But wanted something more, a daughter, sweet and lovely

They picked a girl, sweet and fair

Ivory skinned with golden hair

Who was cared for and adore anywhere

And wanted a mother to love, who would care

The girl did not choose the Lady in White, but instead chose the other

So the Ladies fought for years, wanting nothing but to be a mother

But one day the Lady in Black brought the innocent people cover

She locked away the Lady in White, with the help of many others

The lady in Black used a powerful spell

That sent the Lady in White to her own personal hell

And forever there was she to dwell

In a castle, in the ground, beneath a hidden well

There comes that time where dusk meets dawn, the Lady in Black arrives

So overcome with joy that many of her people survived

She’s vowed to protect them from meeting a painful demise

At the hands of the Lady in White, and her evil magical ties

Only during the day does the Lady in Black have power

She watches over her people from a tall enchanted tower

It is at this time when the Lady in White’s creature cower

For she will have no magic until the darkness hour

It has been said that one day the Lady in White will rise again

Angry and powerful, she will try to seek revenge

But the Lady in Black’s daughter would have mastered her power then

And will finally bring the Lady in White to her long awaited end.
