After their short encounter, Colin and Malena sat through the short Welcoming event the Reunion committee had set up for the alumni's. Colin was able to sit a few rows behind Malena and kept a watchful eye on her. She must of noticed his intense stare because at one point she turned around and met his curious eyes. She of course glared at him and then turned around not paying him any more attention.

"What the hell did I do to her that she can't even look at me?" he continued to ask himself. "She tried talking to me ten years ago and I wouldn't listen? When was that?"

Hearing clapping Colin was brought out off his deep thoughts when he felt his friend nudge him. "Yo Colin, stand up! They just called your name to acknowledge your presence."

Colin looked around and noticed people staring at him and clapping so he slowly stood up, put on a fake smile and waved at the audience Praying they wouldn't call him up on the stage. They didn't so he sat back down staring at the back of Malena's head who didn't clap or look his way.

They were dismissed a few minutes later for the breakfast and Malena made sure she hurried out of the auditorium while Colin called out to her.

"Malena? Why is Colin Kaepernick calling you?" Erika asked as she looked at Colin trying to get to her. "I thought you guys didn't really talk back in the day?"

"I don't know?!" she shrugged and she really didn't. Though she knew she would most likely see him that day she didn't know what to say if she would. So many times she had practiced her speech in the mirror. She had been adamant on talking to him, many times chickening out. She could live with that...not ever talking to him. She had figured he wouldn't give her the time of day, he hadn't ten years prior. So why was he so determined to speak to her now? Does he want forgiveness? Or did he have some deep life epiphany making him realize that what he and his friends had done ten years before was wrong...criminal even?!

No! Not the Colin Kaepernick! He wasn't a deep person and why would he ask for forgiveness now, she was sure his conscience has been fine all these past years. Malena doubted he even felt bad for what his friends had put her through on Prom night...forgotten about it even? Too bad she couldn't no matter how much therapy she had been through to forget. She could never and will never forget.

Erika and Malena made it to the cafeteria for the breakfast and met up with other acquaintances. She made sure she was surrounded by people so Colin wouldn't go near her but it didn't last too long.

Malena started the walk thru with her classmates and decided to go to the bathroom. Stepping out of the stall she squeaked once she noticed a tall male leaning against the sink with his arms folded across his chest.

"What the hell Kaepernick?! Did you forget how to read after high school? I know you and your cronies spent a lot of time in the girl's bathroom having sex, but I really thought you grew up!?" she spat glaring at him.

Colin didn't say a word, he just stared at her trying to figure out her hostility towards him.

Malena sighed and walked up to the sink to wash her hands ignoring him. Colin stared at her from behind meeting her eyes in the mirror. Malena continued washing then dried her hands sensing Colin right behind her. She could actually feel his body heat on her back.

He didn't say a word but put his hands on each side of the sink to trap her.

"What are you doing?" she asked trying to maintain her anxiety. The only man she had let this close to her body was Ryan.

He didn't say a word but continued to stare at her through the mirror. He then closed his eyes and let out a deep breathe and asks "What did I do that you keep avoiding me?"

"So he doesn't remember?!" she asked herself. Of course...why would he remember.

"If you don't know...then I won't relive the dirty details of you and your pathetic friend's 'Prank' that night! So if you have some sick twisted fetish of torturing me after all this years...then...forget it Colin! It took me many years to put myself together after what your friends did to me throughout high school and I will NOT be bullied by you either! I'm not that naive, sensitive, pathetic girl I used to be! So if you are hoping that you could once again break me then run out of here laughing to your friends then you will be very disappointed!" she hissed not taking her eyes off of his.

Colin was speechless. What the f*** was she ranting about? If he was confused before then he's completely clueless now!

Colin looked at Malena, really looked at her noticing how pissed off she was but more, hurt than anything. What happened that night and why did she think he was involved in it? He remembered seeing Malena on Prom night, she even looked sexy in that dress she had worn. He actually just remembered what she had worn...why though?

"Please let me leave! I have nothing else to say to you!" she whispered breaking him out of his thoughts.

Colin leaned back giving her space to turn around. The closeness to her body made him feel some type of way. Looking down at her he noticed her features. Her light tanned skin looked soft to the touch. Her long black hair had waves but curled at the end. Her body and curves which filled out her small frame throughout the years made her look so sexy and delectable. His hand wanted to roam her body just to see and feel how smooth her skin really was. Her scent smelled familiar and it was one he liked. Her brown chocolate eyes can hold his gaze all day showing so much intensity, passion and...hurt. Had he really caused her pain? Why couldn't he remember?

"I need to know Malena...what ever happened that night...I need to know!" he let's out frustrated.

She looked up at him confused but she didn't trust him. "I need to go...!" she says stepping to the side to walk away but Colin quickly grabbed her hand.

Malena tensed up as he held his hand. She wanted to snatch it from his hold but she froze.

"Malena...!" he breathed her name so close to her ear feeling his minty breath on it making her feel something.

She slowly turned around and looked up at him again now her noticing the confusion and frustration in his eyes. No! She can't fall for that face...!

Colin didn't know how to get her to talk. She obviously is traumatized with what happened so he didn't want to push her over edge. He had to think fast before she walked away...so he did the only thing he could think off...

Bringing his hand up he cupped the side of her face stroking his thumb on her cheek. Malena looked at him with wide eyes and before she could say or do anything, Colin bent down and brought her into a kiss. Once his lips touched hers he brought his other hand up cupping the other side of her face keeping her in place.

Malena was in shock and tried to push away but he was stronger. She started feeling her chest tighten and memories started flooding her mind. How could he kiss her?

She finally pulled away panting. Colin looked at her then her lips. Those lips that for some reason called him telepathically and tasted so good. He wanted to kiss them again...kiss her!

"Why would you want to hurt me once again Colin?" she quietly says  stepping back but before he could respond Malena ran off leaving Colin more frazzled...this time he didn't know if it was because he didn't know what had happened on Prom night ten years before or because that kiss felt familiar.

A/N: Hello wattpadders. Had time for an update! Hope you liked it.

Colin and Malena are in the school for the breakfast and Colin keeps trying to talk to Malena who continues to ignore him. Finally he traps her in the girl's bathroom and somewhat gets something out of her though he still couldn't remember.

Do you think he subconsciously knows something? Does he feel an attraction to Malena? Why did he really kiss her...and did she remember that horrible night in some way?

Just a FYI, I wrote a new story called "Double Trouble" so please check it out. I'm venturing out in my writing and would love your support!
