Chapter 10: The Truth...

A/N: So my readers...I know some of you have been waiting to find out what happened to Malena...so here you are...this is just the beginning of the truth...

Colin ran inside to the bathroom and chucked the contents of his stomach. His stomach turned and ached so he continued throwing up until he was dry heaving...that lasted about five minutes. After that he slumped on the floor clenching to his stomach shutting his eyes tight to hold on to the tears that threatened to spill. He was in pain and agony...his heart felt like it was going to jump out of his chest...how could this be happening to him?

Malena was in her bed crying hysterically with Ryan on her side trying to comfort her... It had been hours and she couldn't control her sobs. How could she when everything had been revealed. Ten long years of holding it in and in one afternoon she felt like she had relived it...except he was in total shock. His face expression was of pure horror when she said those words and she knew then that he had no clue of what had happened on Prom night...no one knew except her and his friends. Oh God his face said it all...so many emotions that went through him all plastered in his shocked face. She knew he didn't believe her...why would he? They were his close friends after all. Why would he think they would have done that to her from all people?

But the truth of the matter was that they did and his denial at that moment had to be pushed aside to realize she was telling the truth...it was right in front of him...her daughter Faith was proof.

Colin laid on the cold bathroom floor for what seemed like hours. All he wanted to do was to disappear Praying that the tiled floor would open up and swallow him sending him straight to Hell where he thought he belonged along with his so called friends...even thinking that they once were made him want to throw up again. How could they do that to Malena? She didn't deserve what they had done to her...no one did! No wonder she didn't want to talk to him...because of them... 

Thinking back, he remembered how weird they had acted the day after Prom and even the last few weeks of school. Come to think about it...every time Malena tried talking to him they would intervene. He had found it strange but he just ignored them...they were her bullies...the bullies that had gone too far in their little "Prank"!

Malena was hurting...her heart ached knowing Colin knew the truth...most of it. She felt as if every piece of her sanity was crumbling once again. It had taken her so long to put herself back together again...and there she was in a fetal position rocking herself...having another panic attack as flashbacks of what they had done to her replayed in her mind. 

She so wished she couldn't remember as she did in the beginning. She was drugged so everything the morning after had been a haze...a bad dream. A dream that actually was true...a nightmare.

There was pounding on the bathroom door but Colin ignored it. How could he face his family...especially his mom? Everyone had been around to hear what had happened to Malena ten years prior. The look of surprise, anger, disgust then disappointment filled each of his family members...but his mother's...that was something he wished he could never see again...she had even turned her face away from his so she wouldn't look at him...he didn't even want to look at himself knowing what had happened.
