"5...4...3...2...1!" The bell rung and everyone piled out of the classroom. I took my time packing my bag because I knew that I would be mobbed by hundreds of students trying to go home for the weekend. Finally putting away my textbooks, I slung my bag over my shoulder and retreated to the hall. I went to my locker to grab my History binder. My best friend, Justin, was waiting by my locker. "Hey Zainab! Wanna hang at the diner after school?"
Justin was a very handsome guy. His brown hair was in a quiff and he was wearing a tight long sleeve shirt, slightly skinny jeans and his high tops. Every Friday, we would go to his fathers diner and hang out and help. "Sorry Jus, I have to go dress shopping with my mum and Meg. You know it's Meg's wedding soon. If it makes you feel better, we can hang out tomorrow?" I gave him a small smile. He nodded sadly and started to walk away. "Remember to send a picture of the dress once you get it!" He yelled behind his shoulder. "I will!" I yelled back.
I started the short walk to the main gates, where my mum and sister would come and pick me up. I got bored so I got out my phone and opened Twitter. A notification went off and Niall Horan tweeted.
@NiallOfficial: In London !! Sight seeing is sort of boring now tht you've seen it all .
I smiled at his tweet. When I'm feeling sad, he always cheers me up with his goofiness. I heard a car honk and I looked up. It was Meg and my mum. "Get in loser, we're going shopping." Meg said. I laughed and got in the back seat. No, my sister didn't hate me and I didn't hate her, she is just really obsessed with her fiancée, Mark, and Mean Girls. "So, where're we going today mum?" I asked. "I have a friend who owns a dress shop at Central London so we're going there." she replied. "Cheer up kiddo, you'll see Jus soon." my sister said. I nodded and took out my earphones from my pocket and plugged it in, deciding to listen to One Direction and their beautiful voices.

I think I fell asleep but I'm not so sure, but I felt my mum shaking me and yelling, "Get up, we're here!" I woke up with a start and hit my head on a seat. Don't ask me how but I did. Rubbing my head, I climbed out of the car and went into the shop my sister pointed to. At first, I thought it was a castle but a woman in his mid 30's with her sleek black hair in a tight bun and glasses came and hugged my mom. "Brenda! It's so good to see you!" my mum squealed. "You too! And congratulations! Little Meghan is growing up!' she moved onto my sister and kissed her cheek then pulled her in for a hug.
"And you must be Zainab. Hello!" She also pulled me in for a hug and kiss and I, being the polite person I am, obliged. "So, what brings you here?" Brenda asked. "It's my daughters wedding in a few weeks and we need a wedding dress." My mum explained. "We knew, well I knew, that you might have the most perfect dress!" she continued. Brenda nodded and make a movement that was saying, "Follow me." We walked past many dresses, party dresses, formal dresses and even, costume dresses? A big oak door was blocking our path, and at that moment, I knew this was a castle. We walked in and saw thousands of wedding dresses and a full sized mirror to check yourself out, whether it was to see the dress or to see if your makeup is perfect. Either way, its perfect. Brenda pulled out a whole row of wedding dresses. "Let's do this.'

After the billionth dress (or the gazillionth, I'm not so sure), I got up and announced, "I'M GOING OUTSIDE! YOU'RE TOO BORING!" The trio sent me some muffled responses so I took off. I tripped over some stray hangers but I was put out of my misery when the cool fall breeze hit my face.
I looked around and found a bench to sit on. I make my way over to it and took out my phone. A little social media won't hurt. "Hey, can I sit here?" I heard an all to familiar accent say. I looked up and gasped. It was the Niall Horan from One Direction. "N-no not at a-all. Take a-a s-seat." I stuttered. He smiled and sat down, with his huge hands in his hoodie pockets. "So, what brings you here?" he asked. "Oh my sister is getting married so we came here to find her a dress." I said, finding my confidence.
"Ahh, so I know I'm not the only one to ditch my family dirung wedding preperations." he sighed.
"Really? So do you ditch your family at party's too?"
"Yes! Always. I once got dragged into a party for my friends, friends, friends, friends, friends, cousins, brothers, wife's, friends, friends, friends, friends baby shower."
"Whoa, that's confusing and sad."
"Yeah, talk about it."
"I remember the time I got dragged into my dad's bosses' Christmas party. Its was horrendous."
"What happened?"
"Lets say it involved me clogging the toilet and getting too full on eggnog and vomiting on his bosses' wife."
"That reminded me of the time I threw up because of concert nerves."
"Oh please do tell me more."
By the time I had to go, we were both in tears. My phone gave another ding and I read the text.
Meg: Where r u? We r going home! Get ur sorry ass back here!
"Oh, I have to go. We might bump into each other one day." I smiled. Suddenly, I was pulled in for a Horan hug. It felt good. I pulled away and made my way back to the car. I put my hand into my jeans pocket and I felt a paper. I took it out and read it.
