Two Fates

Prelude: Into The Abyss

Once there was only darkness. Nothing else existed, no pain, no misery, no death. Then light came and created life. It ruined the perfection of the void. Darkness sought revenge against the light. However it had grown too weak. The light created allies and used them to fight the darkness. When it seemed the darkness would lose, it found that lights creations weren't perfect. The darkness was able to corrupt the souls of the vulnerable, and so an endless struggle began. Eventually both sides grew tired of fighting. So it was decided that one child would decide the fate of existence. They would ally themselves with the light or the darkness and bring an end to the war. The time for their final battle is now. Who will prevail? It is only matter of time.

Daemon.

"Answer me!"

I am everything, yet I am nothing. I am perfection.

"What does that mean?"

It means what it means.

"What are you?"

I am the darkness.

"What do you want?"

I want nothing. What do you want Daemon?

"Revenge, on those who ruined my life."

"How?"

By lending you the strength you need.

"And what do I have to do in return?"

When the time comes Daemon I will take your soul. What do you say?

"I accept your offer."
