Romano's POV
Ugh you-a bastard!
I kept calling myself a bastard in my head as I noticed my cheeks were flushed red. I smacked myself on the forehead in confusion. "I like the-a waffle bastard, okay? I'm an idiot but I don't-a care!" I muttered and took my seat in calculus class. My eyes widened as I looked at the girl sitting next to me.
"Hey Lovino are you okay? Do you have a fever?" Belgium asked and put her hand on my forehead. The blush turned a darker shade of red. I took her hand away from my face. "Don't-a do that," I said. Belgium nodded and giggled a little.
She looked-a cute when she-a laughs.
I looked who was here in class. Spain, Netherlands, Italy, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, Seychelles, and Prussia. I kept my distance when I noticed that Netherlands sat right behind me. I looked at Belgium and shrugged facing the black board.
My cheeks were red again. crossed my arms on the desk and hid my face under them in embarrassment. "Hey, Lovino? What's wrong?" I heard Belgium ask and felt a tap on my shoulder. I wouldn't come out of my embarrassed nutshell. "Lovino?" Belgium asked. I still didn't come out as embarrassment boiled in me.
I felt a slight tug on my curl.
My eyes widened as I felt like I couldn't control my body. "Bella! What did you-a do?!" Italy yelled. I couldn't control my body as I tackled Belgium on the floor and lied on top of her. Her eye widened in shock as her cheeks turned red. My left hand pinning her to the ground by her hand and my right ruffling her hair. A smirk appeared on my face as I had kissed Belgium passionately.
"LOVINO WHAT THE HELL?!" I heard Spain scream. Belgium released the grip she had on my curl. I regained consciousness and had control over my body. My eyes were wide as I was startled and got up quickly.
"I-I'm very-a sorry..," I said with my head down. Belgium was still in shock as she held three fingers to her lips and slowly got up. "It-a happens whenever someone-a pulls my curl-a," I said clearly blushing in embarrassment. Belgium got up and was silent and got back in her seat with the three fingers still on her lips as she looked red as a tomato.
I sighed and got up and sat on my seat in sadness. "Please don't-a hurt him Herman and-a Big Brother-a Antonio! He did-a nothing wrong! It was the-a curl!" Italy exclaimed. I looked at him as he was trying to defend me. Netherlands and Spain stood up in anger as they sat back down.
I sighed in relief as I glanced at Belgium every once in a while. She was just too beautiful to not look at. But every time I glanced at her she gradually calmed down. A half smile appeared on her face. "I can see how your Italian and related to Francis," Belgium joked and playfully punched my arm. My eyes widened.
I was thinking she would never forgive me after what I did...
"S-So your not-a mad at-a me?" I asked her. Belgium shook her head. "Why should I be mad if it wasn't your fault? Friends trust each other and know when they're telling the truth," Belgium said. I looked at her as the light shade of red on my cheeks kept on getting darker and darker.
"Just please don't-a pull on my-a curl," I said. Belgium nodded and giggled a little. I forced myself to smile and act a little comfortable around her as the blush on my face slowly and gradually disappeared. I forced myself to chuckle a little. "Yeah I guess I don't have a reason to even touch it," Belgium said and smiled.
"Thanks," I said as the calculus teacher came in. For some reason, I really liked Belgium. And more than just friends. I guess, that's a trait that makes me Italian...
Belgium's POV
I still couldn't forget about that kiss that was an accident. It almost reminds me of my first one...
*flashback*
"I had really fun tonight at the Waffle House, Antonio!" I said and smiled. We were on our third date. Walking on the sidewalk at night with ice cream in our hands in a waffle cone. Spain smiled and stopped at the front of a beautiful garden that we always pass by. "Can I please do it, Chica?" Spain asked practically whimpering like a dog.
"Do what?" I asked him, confused. Spain smiled adorably and caressed my cheek with his bare hand and kissed me. I practically melted as I slowly kissed back.
My first kiss. I'll never forget it.
*end of flashback*
"Hey, Ragazza," I heard a familiar Italian poke my cheek with the eraser of a pencil. I looked at him with a friendly smile. "You called?" I asked. Romano nodded. "You've been-a daydreaming instead of-a class. Antonio said that-a you were-a looking at him the-a whole time," Romano said. I raised one eyebrow. "Whatever it is it's in the past," I said and took out my notebook and calculator as well as a pencil and eraser.
Though I forgot my calculator, sitting on my locker. I got a hall pass from the teacher and put it on the top of my desk as I exited the room in sadness. "Why does Lovino remind me so much of Antonio?" I asked myself and felt my heart beat fast. I finally found my locker and put in the combination code taking out my calculator and shutting the door again.
"Hola Chica," I heard a familiar Spaniard say. I looked at him with his arms crossed leaning against a locker door. "What do you want?" I asked and walked off. Spain had put a hand on my shoulder. I forced myself to look at him with an angry expression. "Breaking up with you was one of the worst decisions of my life. So please Chica. Please forgive me for my reckless actions. I want to get back together," Spain said with sadness that filled his green eyes that shone like emeralds.
Of course, I could only think of Romano now. How he adorably gets flushed in embarrassment when he's around me. Acting like a Tsundere. I saw that Spain was nothing like him. Always being an open book, acting happy all the time. "I'm sorry, Antonio. But I don't feel like going back with someone that hurt me," I said and walked off. There was no aching in my chest as I walked back to the classroom and got a hold of my hall pass handing it to my teacher.
"Why did it-a take you-a so long to get-a calculator?" Romano asked. I pointed at his blue sweater that I was wearing. Romano's eyes widened as I giggled.
"Because you have more to live for than me."
"Th-That doesn't even-a make sense!" Romano exclaimed as the Tsundere blush appeared on his cheeks. I giggled again and played with his hair a bit, avoiding the curl. I looked at his eyes. He didn't remind me of Spain as much anymore.
He reminded me of, Romano.
