Loving a BadBoy

Chapter 3

~Kathyleen's POV~

Ugh..... Tryouts were so hectic. Some girls couldn't even pass a ball.  Their were some really good girls but they had terrible attitudes. This season is gonna be so complicated. After tryouts it was 6 pm so i decided on going to the park for a little bit. I felt my phone vibrate, I had a message. 

Roy had texted me.

(R-Roy K-Kathyleen)

R- Hey

K- Hey

R-want to meet up?

K-yea meet me at the park

R-Alright see you in a bit :)

Once i got to the park Roy was sitting by the football field. I was so nervous but I didnt know why. I sat besides  him and it was really quiet. 

"How were tryouts?", he asked breaking the silence.

"They were terribblleeeeee", i said over exaggerating. He just chuckled and smiled. It was a little chilly and i forgot my jacket at school. He sensed that i was cold and gave me his sweater.  It was so warm and smelled like cologne. I scooted closer to him and he wrapped his arms around me. I dont know why it doesnt feel uncomfotable.  Jason never hugged me like this.  

"He doesnt deserve you", Roy said out of nowhere. I was taken aback by his comment. 

"Jason doesnt deserve you, you could do so much better you know", I just let him keep talking.

"He treats you like crap yet your still with him, Why?" he asked. I didnt have an answer. Why was i still with him though? 

"I guess im still with him because people expect us to be together, and he's been through a lot. We've both been through a lot and i dont know I've never really thought about why were together", I said truthfully.  I really dont know why were together.  Roy looked at my understandingly. 

"You want to know a secret?", he asked.

"Yea', i replied. 

"I've liked you since your freshman year", he said. That caught me by surprise. I didnt know what to say.

"That first day of your freshman year I saw you walking to class, you looked so adorable when you were confused as to where your classes were.", I didnt stop him from talking.

"When I found out you made it for the Varsity team and took the Captain position i was shocked. You were perfect in every way. You were the Honor student, always had perfect grades. You were just amazing. But once i heard that Jason was catching feelings for you, i went crazy. He was the perfect athlete, not the best grades but he was good. He's hated me since our freshman year when i took his Varsity spot on the football team and thats why he doesnt play anymore.  When he asked you out I prayed that you would reject him, you deserved better. After you both started going out I gave up on trying to get with you. After all these years of seeing him and the way he treats you , you dont deserve to be treated that way. I think you deserve someone that'll treat you right and not cancel dates and be with you all the time . I really wish I was the one that asked you out freshmen year and the one you said yes to", he let everything out.
