I Faked It

chapter 4

"Ok. I'm here!" I yelled as I walked down to the basement at Sam's house. She had called the squad for a meeting. Probably regarding the holding back of our next plan. I had to call it off for a while because of Jack. I couldnt focus and it was driving me nuts! Do I still have feelings for him? No! Well, he is cute and kind. Ugh why do I think like this. I can't like him, he's a jackass. "Ha." I laugh slightly at my joke as I enter the basement.

"Well look who's here on time!" Alexia was in a sarcastic mood. This means WAR!

"Well look who showed up not dressed as an Eskimo!" She glared at me and took her giant fur coat off.

"YA. Ok, this is over. We need to be serious right now." Sam kinda seemed worried and anxious. I wonder why. "Ok so..." she began talking as we all sat down and I waved to Cam who was sitting next to Sam on the other couch across from Leila Alexia and me. "So you all know that Jack has moved back to town." She looked over at me. I clenched my fists at the sound of his name. "Well..... you know our rules, once a squad member, always a squad me-"

"Not him! He's broken several of our rules and it's not fair if we keep him in! I won't stand for it!" I cut her off and stormed out of the room.

Flashback

"Hey Kassey. I'm so sorry." I glared at Jack then looked back to the board. I needed to listen to what Mr.James had to say, we have a chemistry test tomorrow and I am failing. "Look. I know I've messed up."

"YA no kidding. First you try to kill Sam's cousin and now this. You REALLY don't like me do you?" The bell rang an did got up and stormed down the hall. School was over and I was in no hurry to get home so after I grabbed my stuff I went over to Alexia's locker. "Hey Lex." She shut her locker and looked at me weirdly.

"Lex? Since when is my name a type of cereal?"

"Sorry I've been bugging about Jack. He's such a bastard how could he do this?!" I kicked someone's locker and Alexia and I walked out of the school to the sidewalk and started walking home. We were both orphans but nobody knew it except the squad. All of the squad are orphans, except Sam. She still has her dad but he moved away shortly after Sam ran away. Her dad was a horrible person, anyways. Our parents were all involved in a gang, they did drugs, mugged kids and did horrible things. One day they were all murdered in an alley, probably where they deal drugs. But after that, we made our squad and we vow to kill those who were like our parents, or at least put a stop to them.

"Anyways. So I need to ask you something..... did you know that Jack still has a mom?"

"WHAT?!!!" I screamed so loud that a red suburban almost swerved off the road. "You've got other be kidding me."

"I'm just kidding!!" I sighed. I don't care about Jack now but we would go through a hard time if he did still have a mom. Jack was the more excited one in our squad. The one who was always so happy after a murder or a series of taunting someone. It was kinda weird at first, but we all got use to it.
The familiar ding on my phone went off, meaning I got a text message.
-Jack- look I know your mad at me. But I need to get some things off my chest... I cheated on you and slept with another girl.
-Kassey- surprise surprise. And here I thought you changed since you were in elementary. You were a fucking player then too. Just stay the hell away from me and my friends.
-jack- you love me and you know it. You know your making a mistake. I'm going to get you back kassey, one way or another.

I shut my phone off and screamed on the top of my lungs. Alexia stared at me but then she hugged me, which was kind of awkward but I accepted it.

"He's such a asshole."

"The assholest" Alexia always knew hot to cheer me up.

Reality

"Kassey calm down! He could ruin our lives or get us killed if we kick him out! I don't care if he broke some of our rules he has to stay in the squad!" Sam seemed very mad that I wouldn't except that.

"Why are you so determined to get me to want him in the squad?" She nervously looked down and sighed.

"Remember that one time I said I was going to my dad's for a few months?"

"Ya what about it?"

"I was pregnant with Jacks baby." What. The. Fuck. "If it makes you feel better I was actually at my dad's house. I was getting him to sign the papers so the baby could go for adoption. My heart stopped and I glared at Sam. I punched the wall next to her and ran outside. How could she? She is a traitor just like Jack. They are both fucking assholes. I will get them back for this. I will do something. I am not just going to stand around and wait for them to destroy what's left of me.

I need a plan.
