we arrived in the front of the mall/shopping district. ahh, beautiful clothes! the girls and i all got out of the car and i immediately know where we all want to go.

"URBAN OUTFITTERS!!!" all of us shrieked.

"Pick us up in...5 hours." said Kendall to Leone. 

"okay, bye bye!" waved Leone.

"yes, I'm so excited!" said Paige.

together, we all walked in a long line side by side. we laughed, whispered, screamed, jumped, and ran all the way to urban outfitters which was on the complete opposite side of the mall from where we were. we made it to urban and i saw the cutest dress ever. 

"Oh my-" I said.

"God." interrupted someone to my right.

I turned over and saw the last person I wanted to see on this amazing day. Kalani Hilliker. Kalani and I used to be really close. everyone knows that. but then of course, after I quit dance just before my 13th birthday to be in a movie, Kalani was jealous. she knew so much about me, and i thought she would support me, but then of course she went and kissed Zack Torres, my crush at the time. it wasn't that big of a deal, but i guess he was pretty out of my league considering he's 3 years older than me. but still. we were supposed to be friends. since then, we haven't talked much and it's not like i've missed her much. that was a few years ago though. now i love gino, and it doesn't matter much anyways. I am maddie ziegler. the daughter of melissa gisoni, corporate best business woman in new york city. the sister of mackenzie ziegler, aka mack z. i am maddie ziegler, model, actress, dancer. and i don't give a crap who kalani hilliker is. 

"oh. hello kalani." i said in my best, 'why are you even here and talking to me' voice.

"maddie, it's been way too long!" she replied.

"okay, great. why are you REALLY talking to me?" i asked, glaring at her and crossing my arms.

"didn't you hear? zack torres and i are a thing now. 6 months, going strong." she bragged.

"and I'm supposed to care because...? haven't YOU heard? I'm dating gino cosculluela. have been for years now." I shot.

kalani laughed. "you mean the guy who insulted you publicly through a you now? yeah, such a catch. and isn't he like 2 years older than you?"

"look, he apologized, okay? better than you could ever do." I said.

"whatever. see you later bitch." 

"i sure as hell hope not." I muttered.

i walked over to the section where chloe was. 

"was that miss. kalani hilliker herself? I thought she was in hell." questioned chloe.

I laughed. "she came over and was talking about how her and zack torres are dating or whatever. i don't really give a crap."

"good for you. go maddie!" said chloe.

"thanks! found anything you liked yet?" I asked.

"oh my gosh...I found this.." and i just enjoyed the rest of the time shopping without kalani bothering us.
