Emerald was adopted by a rancher and his wife.they were nice to her,they gave her what she wants from the little they had.they were poor but they tried to satisfy emerald.Her new mother's name was Elise and her dad's kevin.They made a happy family together.emmy still miss her twin sister,jade and all the things they did together.she still heard jade's voice in her head saying "i'm gonna come back for you,emerald" she smiled sadly and said "i love you jade and i miss you".someone cleared their throat,she turned to see her new dad sam looking at her with a sad smile on his lips."father?" she said and ran to him.she cried on his chest."everything is gonna be alright with dear" he said trying to console her.
