Sorry about the ending of this chapter;)
But you know how I did the thing where she was compelled to forget? Right so that's not gonna happen anymore and she's going to remember everything. This time the explanation is going to be way easier to understand (in the next chapter).

Regan's p.o.v.

Shawn's hand moves up and down my stomach softly as I lie awake.

"What if he doesn't come back?" I ask. My voice breaks at the possibility.

"Baby. He's going to come back. Don't worry." He assures. I grab his hand and enclose it in mine.

"I just... There's a possibility. My heart and mind just won't stop worrying." I say.

"Hey. Don't worry. How about I get your mind off it?" He questions. I immediately tighten. That's what Hayes said the night of my bad dream. He notices. "Don't worry. I'm just going to sing." He comforts. I loosen.

"Thank you." I smile. He hums softly into my ear until he begins singing.

"She would not show that she was afraid.
But being and feeling alone was to much to face.
Though everyone said that she was so strong.
What they didn't know that she could barely carry on.
But she knew that she would be okay.
So she didn't let it get in her way."

He sings smoothly into my ear. I feel my eyes start to fall at the soft lyrics.

"Sometimes it all gets a little too much
but you gotta realize that soon the fog will clear up..."

I feel myself drifting and next thing I know, I fall asleep.

When I wake, the sun peers against my face. I roll over to see Shawn sitting up next to me.

"I hope you forgive me, but I looked on your phone when you got a text, and Cameron is okay. He got to Nash's early this morning." He rasps tiredly. I feel relief wash over me. A smile appears on my face.

"You have a beautiful voice." I say. He blushes and looks at his hands.

"Thank you Regan." He smiles.

"Oh and thank you for comforting me last night. I really needed it."

"Anytime. Now lets go see Cameron yeah?" He asks. I nod.

"Cameron! Oh god I was worried sick!" I yell as I walk into the Grier living room.

"I know... But I'm fine now! I really am okay. It was just a long night." He rambles tiredly.

"You're not the only one who had a rough night! Oh boy. Yea I turned into a wolf and broke every bone in my body. But yea let's just make sure Cam is okay." Hayes says sarcastically from the doorway. I feel anger build up inside me.

"You. YOU! Hayes you were a wolf last night. Who's to say that it wasn't you!" I snap angrily. Hayes rolls his eyes.

"It wasn't me Regan. I came into town but passed out on the border before I could do any damage."

"And how would you know this? I thought wolves weren't conscious when they turn."

"I know because I was with him. As you turn more and more often, you begin being able to control your actions." Julianne butts in from the kitchen table.

"I don't believe you." I state truthfully.

"Well it's the truth, so believe whatever you want." Hayes snaps. I can't help but laugh out loud.
