The new kid

He had longish brown curly hair with a bandanna in it and wore tight black jeans and a baggy worn out white tee shirt. He had emerald green eyes and every time he would focus on what Mr. Davis said his jaw would flex and it was the sexiest thing I have ever witnessed. There was just one small problem with this.

Amber.

I have never been the type of girl to sleep around. Amber on the other hand will sleep with anything and everything just because. She is always trying to hook me up with blind dates but I never go on them because I don't believe in that kind of stuff. I believe in fate. I wonder if I tell her I'm interested in him after class if she will lay off. Probably not, but it's worth a try.

The bell rang and I didn't even flinch. I just watched the new kid get up and leave, my eyes on him the entire time. "Hellooooo earth to syd, you there?" Amber says and I snap back into reality. "What were you lo.." But she didn't get to finish her sentence because I cut her off "I call dibs" I say almost yelling. "On what? Him? Ooohh poppy has a crushhhh that's so cute" she says in a mocking tone and I glare at her. "I will lay off just this once because I am a nice friend and you gave me a pancake this morning" I laughed and she joined in.

We finally got up and started heading to our second period. Our second periods were different because she is in the smart people science class and I'm not. She may be a whore, but she is a whore with a brain.

I make my way to Ms. Aunchmuns class. I walk into the room and since I don't have Amber with me I scan the room for a good seat then my eyes get stuck. It's him. The new kid is in my class. Lucky for me there is an open seat right in front of him and I take it. Since class hasn't started yet and we still have a couple minutes to kill I swallow my fear and turn around. "Hi, I'm poppy" I say with a smile as he looked up at me. Wow, he is even more breathtaking up close. "Hello. I'm Harry." His thick raspy voice made me blush. "I think it's cute when you blush" he says and I look down at my hands so I don't make eye contact.

The entire second period we talked and shared laughs. He was so easy to talk to and we had so much in common. The period flew by way to fast. The bell rang and i had a free period for my third period. We get up at the same time and head for the door. "What's your next class?" I ask out of curiosity. "I have a free period" i think he noticed how exited I got because he laughed and I could feel the heat on my face.

"You wanna get out of here love?" he says with that beautiful smirk. I just nod due to not being able to get any words out. "Follow me" he says with a wink and walks out of the door to the parking lot, occasionally looking behind him to make sure I was still there. This made me smile. He took me to a black Range Rover and took out his keys. "This is yours?" I say in shock. "Well I would hope so" I laughed and he joined. He walked over to my side of the car and opened the door for me. "Oh what a gentleman" I said with a smirk and he blushed as he made his way to his side of the car.

"So... Where are you taking me?" "It's a secret" he said with a smirk. "Oh crap" I accidentally say aloud. "Are you okay?" "Oh yea I just forgot to text Amber and tell her I wouldn't be meeting up with her after second period." He nodded. I pulled my phone out and texted Amber.

Hey I won't be there after second period sorry. The new kid is taking me out ill give you the details later. -S <3

I put my phone away and looked up at Harry's amazing facial features and he looked back at me. We just sat in a daze and after what felt like forever I looked forward "HARRY STOP!" We had been driving in the wrong lane and there was a semi truck headed our way. I cringed as I felt the pressure of the black Range Rover collapsing on the both of us.

Everything went black.
