Chapter 16

Elizabeth's P.O.V

I probably fell asleep on the couch.. I heard noises coming from the kitchen, and I smelled the delicious smell of waffles. 

"Sweetie? Are you awake?" I heard my mother's voice coming from the kitchen.

"Huh? Yeah I'm awake!" I answered.

"Oh good, I made waffles, are you hungry?" She came out of the kitchen with a plate full of waffles. I grinned and nodded.

"What day is it?" I wondered

"Sunday, why?" She took a bite from a waffle.

"Oh, just wondering, what did you do all this time? I haven't seen you all weekend." I asked when I realized I haven't seen her.

"I.. I've been doing things.." She said uneasily. I rose an eyebrow.

"What about dad? I haven't seen him too, where is he now?" I questioned.

"He, um.. Helped with the things and he is somewhere.." She gulped.

I wanted to say something but the doorbell disturbed our conversation, my mother sighed in relief. She stood up and walked to the door, I silently followed her. She opend the door and I heard her whispering.

"Hey sweetheart, did you get the, you know?" She said to someone.

"Yes, I did. Does she already know?" That voice belonged to my father. What was going on?

"No, she doesn't, she is going to be so happy! Come on, she's eating waffles, let's give it now, I don't want her to wait!" My eyes widened and rushed back to my waffles.

In no time my mom and dad stood in front of me, smiling at me. It was very creepy to see how they were smiling.

"We have something for you!" My dad smiled, still like a creep.

"Is mom pregnant? Do I get a brother or sister?!" I asked hopefully, I've always wanted a brother or sister, as I'm an only child.

They laughed. Seriously, what's so funny? My dad handed me a key. A key?

"Wha-" I started a sentence, but I was cut off by my mom.

"Go take a look outside!" She cheered happily.

"Okay?" I slowly stood up and walked to the front door. 

I opend the door and I saw a silver coloured car. A car! I got a car! I ran back inside and hugged my parents to death.

"Thank you! Thank you so much!" I said during the hug. 

My mom laughed.

"Now, go and try it out!" She gave me one last hug.

I walked to the car and I started the engine. Where to go? I decided to go to Starbucks.

*At Starbucks*

I couldn't stop smiling, I was so happy with my new car. But one text destroyed my happy mood.

'Nice car! x Reynold'

Who was this Reynold guy? My dream.. That was just a dream.. Right? No, that happened three years ago, Sarah and I went to the pool and.. Reynold was there, with some other guy. I believe I once had a date with Reynold, but that was three years ago, what does he want from me? My phone buzzed, another text, but this one wasn't from Reynold.

'We have good news! Come to the studio! -Niall'
