(A/N: Sorry it's been so long since I've updated this. I was busy reading Poet Anderson of Nightmares (which you should definitely read if you haven't already). Thanksgiving break is coming up soon though so hopefully there will be more chapters coming. And to get to the point of this note: here's a smut warning.)
"You know, you have a little over a month until our last exam, and then the semester ends," Travis remarked, casually looking at Tom over the sodas they were gathering in Travis' kitchen. "Have you gotten anywhere with Addison yet?"
"Why are you talking about my love life on your birthday?" Tom shot back his own question.
"Oh, were we talking about your love life?" Travis questioned with mock surprise. "I thought I was asking about your sex life. Since when does sex equal love to you, or does it have something to do with the fact that we're talking about Addison?" He smirked at Tom.
"Shut up," Tom rolled his eyes, trying to stop himself from blushing. How had he slipped up like that? Of course he didn't love Addison...right? "I don't love Addison," Tom said out loud, as if that would make it true.
"Sure," Travis chuckled. "But seriously, it's November 14th. You're running out of time."
"Why do you care anyways?" Tom asked. He began to collect the cans of soda in his arms and Travis grabbed the remainders.
"Because if you lose, Mark will never let you hear the end of it. Meaning I never get to hear the end of it either," Travis answered. He made a face at the possibility of Mark bragging of his victory for the next five years.
"I doubt it," Tom laughed. "That would mean he'd have to stop gushing over Skye and their dates, which is virtually impossible." Tom was honestly happy for his best friend. If it meant Mark was happy, Tom would gladly endure the hours Mark spent talking about his new girlfriend.
"True," Travis agreed. The two boys left the kitchen and headed to the basement where the rest of their friends were waiting. They were spread out in front of the TV, arguing about what movie to watch. Tom passed out the cans, saving two for Addison and himself. He sat down on the floor next to his girlfriend and handed her a Coke before wrapping an arm around her shoulders.
"We should watch Nightmare Before Christmas," Noelle declared. Tom could tell from the smirk on her face that she didn't really care about watching the movie; she only suggested it to annoy Mike.
"No," Mike groaned and Noelle's smirk widened. "We just watched that, like, a month ago. Plus Halloween was two weeks ago."
"Yeah but it's also a Christmas movie," Tré argued, grinning as he ganged up with Noelle against Mike.
"It's not even Thanksgiving yet, guys," Billie Joe rolled his eyes.
"Hallmark is playing Christmas movies already," Mark informed. "We could watch those."
"Do I look like Pete Wentz to you?" Billie asked, exasperated.
Tré squinted at his friend, as if carefully examining his face. "Well, you do kind of wear the same eyeliner," he answered, causing Noelle to burst out laughing. Billie Joe just glared at the two of them.
"Pete watches Lifetime movies anyway," Addison corrected. She snuggled into Tom's side, making Tom's lips twitch up in a smile. "Not Hallmark movies."
"How do you know so much about Wentz's movie viewing habits?" Tom asked teasingly. Addison laughed and hit Tom lightly on the chest.
                                          "Oh shut up," she retorted.
