Chapter 17.

It was finally Friday afternoon and I was at Ruby's getting ready to go to the football match, I was a little bit over dressed for a game of football but Jack and I were supposed to be going on a date afterwards.

"You girls ready?" Ruby's mom shouted up the stairs to us.

"Yeah we'll be down in a sec" Ruby shouted back down.

I gathered my phone and wallet and followed Ruby to her car, when we got to the school we went and met up with jade another one of our friends and sat down and proceeded watching the game.

The final score was 16-17 in our favour. It wasn't really an interesting game I spent most of the time on my phone scrolling through multiple of my social media sites and messaging a few people every now and then.

"Tiahni." Ruby spoke breaking me out of my thoughts.

"Yeah"

"Jacks down there"
Looking up from my phone I smiled to him, and stood up. I said my goodbyes to my friends and then made my way down the stairs.

"Hey" I beamed at him before he embraced me in a hug.

"Hi, you look nice" he said looking me up and down.

"Thanks" I smiled beginning to walk off so he wouldn't notice the small blush that was beginning to creep it's way onto my face.

After a short car drive we ended up at a diner across the road from the cinema.

"I was thinking food then a movie?" He said looking at me before getting out of the car

We went into the diner and had our meals, we mainly talked about school and our interests. It was good to get to know him more, we were now in the line to buy our movie tickets. We both agreed on maze runner scorch trials which was good because Dylan O'brien is like my husband and i can't think of anything better than watching him on a massive screen.

We got our snacks and went to the back row.

"This was fun" Jack smiled at me as we walked up to my porch

"It was. Thanks" I smiled at him as I stood in front of my door "do you want to come in?"

" I can't sorry" he frowned

" No worries" I smiled.

We stood there for a minute or two in silence, before Jack grabbed my hands and pulled me close, he then moved his hands from my hands to my waist. He closed his eyes and begun to slowly move his face towards mine, i froze for a second before mimicking his movements, I too started to lean in towards him. His lips connected with mine and I swear they were as soft as clouds. It felt passionate rather then electrifying like the kiss I had shared with Justin.

After a few seconds I heard wolf whistling, breaking apart from Jack I turned to see Ryan and his annoying obnoxious friends

"GEt it T!!" Lewis yelled slowly walking up to the porch, Ryan was quick to elbow him in the ribs.

"I better go" Jack whispered before walking down the porch to his car. Wow way to leave me to deal with this.
I watched as he moved his way past the few boys. Before I quickly turned to go inside.

I threw my keys into the bowl near the entry before the boys came in, Lewis and chaz making kissing noises and faces where as Justin and Ryan looked irritated.

"Way to ruin the moment nerds" I snarled

"There will be no more moments" Ryan said sternly

"Lol k" I said sarcastically before going to collapse on the couch.

I smiled to myself thinking about how well the night had went. My smile soon turned into resting bitch face though when Ryan and his friends came to play there game.
