|Me? A Hero?|

On that unlucky day, who would've thought? That the fate I had is to become a hero that would save the world. Ha! I wouldn't believe it either if you were to ask my past self. How did I became a hero you ask? It all started that day......

*Trrii...*

*Trrrrrrrrrrrriiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnngggggg*

"Hmm... Mmm.... Tch! Where is it." I said as I reached over my alarm clock.

*click*

Haahh.. Much better.... now back to sleep! I thought as I pulled my blanket above my head to blocked the sun shining down on my face.

...

*Beep Beep Beep.....Beep Beep Beep! *

"Okay! Okay! I'm awake." I said as I quickly get up and get ready for school. As you can see I wasn't really a morning person so I would need a total of three alarm clocks with an interval of 5 minutes just to wake me up.

"Thanks for the food!" I said while preparing my bag for school.

"I'm off!" I said while closing the door and walked towards the street corner and wait for a bus just like every day the same thing.

It's getting boring.. I hope something 'life-changing' will happen this day. I prayed hoping for something to relieve my boredom. Oh lucky me! There's a bus already and there's only 6 people inside, looks like I'll be early today.

Haaa... Damn this road construction! Why do they have to do this in the middle of the school year don't they know how many people will suffer from this! Now I'm 10 minutes away from being late. My luck isn't good today. And I'm at least 1 km away from school.

Well I think I'm just going to wait. I look at my watch it says 7:52 and then in the corner of my eye I saw an old odd man. Why odd? Because he looks like someone who is trying to fit in to be normal, and also his constant glances to his side intrigues me. He looks so suspicious and also the lady next to him looks pale and trembling, all these things could mean that the man is a thief and robbing the lady.

I have to do something I can't just let him rob the lady, come on man think, think of a plan to save her and not to die in the process. S**t calm down first let's find out if he's alone or not. Hmm.. The man on the back of the driver looks okay and the man next to the door is not even looking at this direction, good! Looks like he's alone! Now let's get in action.

"Miss... did you drop this?" I ask while showing her a 5 peso coin. With that I got the attention of the lady and the robber

"No..... It's not... mine." Waiting for her to finish her response I quickly flick the coin to the robber's face, making the robber reach for his face and there I saw his knife waving in front of me.

Without a second delay, I quickly reach for his knife but the robber realized my intention and stubbornly grip on his knife harder, making it difficult for me to disarm him. With no chance to overpower him I quickly elbowed him in the face making him wheeze in pain and also breaking his nose in the process. Now with knife in my hand I quickly send a barrage of punches in his face and to his stomach leaving him no time to catch his breath and with a last kick in his crotch I take a look at him and saw his disfigured face full of blood and bruises making me sigh of relief and pity him for a second.

STAB!

"AAAAAUGHHHHH!!" It hurts! S**T it hurts! I hold my side while I scream and then found the culprit that stabbed me, the man near the exit earlier holding a knife glaring at me filled with killing intent probably because I beat up his friend. Not good! He have an accomplice! S**t I got caught off-guard. Dammit what should I do! Wait... Being scared is not good in this situation calm down first and analyse him. I put my hand on my chest and breathe deeply not minding the blood on my hand I stare sharply at the man making him flinch, he looks 38 years old he's 5'8 and he's thin, he wears a white shirt, black jeans and blue Nike shoes. He's holding the knife in a stabbing manner and he's using his left hand to guard, he's at least 5 meters away from me and looks like he's gonna rush towards me any second now.

Using the pole in front of me I stand up and do a stance by placing my left foot in front and right foot at the back I lowered my back put my left hand on guard and pass the knife to my right hand and grip it backhanded and use it as a counterattack, but I'm still trembling damn... Legs stop shaking!

Seeing me shaking the man smiled and started to rush towards me. Seeing this I did not move a single bit and waited for the right time.

He's now 1 meter away from me now and he lunge his knife to my chest but I sidestep to his left side and grab his left arm, plunge my knife to his neck and twist it.

He should be screaming if I didn't pierce his larynx making only gurgle sounds as he drowned in his own blood.

I fall to my butt as my adrenaline rush stop and now I'm sweating and trembling profusely. I-I killed s-someone...

PANT! PANT! PANT!

"Watch out!" the lady wailed.

I quickly turned my head to see a fist coming towards me.

BAM!

I was bewildered and spat blood and some of my teeth fell off.

Damn that hurts my head feels wobbly and I'm losing a lot of blood I should end this now. I glare at him and stagger to my feet, I reach for my knife on the ground and took the same stance. This time I'll to make sure to finish this. I charge at him slowly and he just laugh and prepare for punch when I'm 1 meter away from him he swing his fist at me, I dodge by falling in front of him and using my last bit of strength I slashed his belly using my knife making his organs fall.

"AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!"

He scream, and stomp hard on my back breaking my ribs, piercing my lungs in the process and spitting out a mouthful of blood.

He stomp and kick me for a minute before he finally stop screaming and dies out of blood loss.

Making rough breaths as each second pass the pain intensifies. I smiled. It's.... over.... I..... Win. Is all I can think of as I feel my heart beat gradually quietens.

Totally helpless, I just grit my teeth and wait for the pain to be gone. If I'm gonna die here! At least let me reincarnate just like the fan fiction that I was reading earlier!

"Burgh!! Argh!"
