“Because I am falling for you.”

Wait.

What did he just say?

Harry Styles is falling for me?

Me, a normal girl who hasn't even something special on herself.

“Noel? Do you want to say something about it?”

No, I am fine. I just stay here and look like an absolute jerk.

“I-I-I don't know what I should say about this... Harry you know we cannot be.. be... together. You know that Louis don't like this. He is my brother Harry. And I promised him not to fall for one of you guys.”

He looked down to the floor. An awkward silence followed.

I watched every single move he made. How he bit his lips. How he tried to find words.

“So, does that mean that you don't like me? That you do not feel the sparks when we kiss and we touch each other? Don't you feel this?”

Now he was staring into my eyes. God, why are his eyes so irresistible?

Why is he so irresistible?

“Harry I do like you. And yeah, maybe I like you more than I think but I cannot be yours. First of all there is Louis and then there is the fact that you have a girlfriend... Harry I feel this feeling. It is indescribable and yes maybe I want to be yours but I can't. I just don't want to break my promise even though I already did break it.”

“What do you mean? Why did you already broke it?”

Now I was the one looking down to the floor.

“Because I am also falling for you. And I now I shouldn't but I just cannot control myself. Every time you're near me my stomach is full of fireworks and I want to kiss you and hold you but I can't because I don't want to disappoint Louis.”

He stepped closer to me and pulled me into a tight hug. His hands were circling on my back and his head rested on my forehead so that we were just inches apart. I looked down on him. His T-shirt was too big so that I could see his tattoos. Just to take a moment. They are gorgeous. Every little tattoo has a meaning for him.

“So you like me too?” He said in a husky voice.

I nodded and looked deep in his eyes. They were shining and I could see that he started to smile.

“Noel? You don't want to disappoint Louis, right? But Louis has to understand that people cannot control their feelings and he has to understand that we are meant to be.”

“We are meant to be?”

I chuckled. These five words made my day.

He nodded.
