"My name is Peter Pan, and I'm going to make all your dreams come true."

And with that he flew out the window. Mark grabbed his sisters' hands and the followed him, flying over the beautiful town. Every building was lit up and cars drove up and down the streets; it was a wonderful sight. They flew towards a bright star in the sky, allowing the clouds to cover the earth beneath them. Peter looked around and found the sun then followed it. Finally Peter dived down toward a small island in the water, but stopped abruptly. He pulled Mark close and sped off toward a beach. Mark was about to question what was going on when he heard a loud bang come from the water. A large cannonball flew through the air, just barely missing Amy.

"The pirates saw me! They're trying to knock me out of the air, we have to get to the beach!" He grabbed the collar of Mark's shirt and pulled him down at the speed of a rocket. The shots became more frequent, making the kids have to keep dodging cannonball after cannonball. A cannonball flew from the ocean and hit a tree, knocking off large chunks of wood. A branch hit Peter and caused him to spin out of control. The kids lost their balance and all separated, flying out of control at a fast speed. One by one they landed on the beach. When Mark fell he immediately sat up, frantically looking for Peter.

"Peter! Peter where are you! Are you okay?! PETER!" Mark ran around the beach, digging through the sand and bushes.

Something fell out of the sky and hit the beach. It landed heavily in the sand, causing a large dust cloud to puff up and splash dirt in Mark's face. Mark ran over to see Peter curled up in the sand. Tears filled Mark's eyes as he tried to shake him awake. When nothing happened Mark burst into a mess of sobs.

"P-Peter?" Peter asked in a small voice. His vision was blurred and he couldn't see anything.

"W-What?" Mark wiped his eyes and leaned over Peter.

"Oh, n-nothing." Peter's vision cleared. "Did ya miss me?" He smirked.

Mark hugged him tightly. "Never do that again!"

Peter laughed and tried to sit up, but a sharp pain hit his side. He winced and lifted his shirt. There was a large bruise and a few cuts, but nothing too bad. "Are your sisters okay?"

Mark bolted up. He ran around the beach and found his sisters, thankfully neither of them were hurt.

"We should get to the Lost Boys. They'll take care of us." Peter stood, cringing and holding his side. Mark pulled Peter's arm over his shoulder and assisted him. After about 10 minutes of walking they made it to a large tree, surrounded by stumps and giant mushrooms. "Here we are! Welcome to our Home Under The Ground." Mark looked around. There were no doors or entrances, how were you supposed to get in? Just then Peter did an odd animal call, and Mark was absolutely shocked.

A seemingly invisible door opened up in the bark of the tree and two small children about Amy's age came out. Two of the mushrooms opened the top and another two kids came out, maybe around 12-13. A little hatch in the grass opened up and a kid about Lily's age came up from the ground. Finally one more person swung from a vine out from the top of the tree, a few months younger than Peter and Mark. The kids lined up in from of Peter, each one making random animal noises. Every kid was dressed in a similar way as peter, except they wore various animal skins and the kid that came out of the mushroom wore a cooking bowl on his head. Lily and Amy giggled as they flapped their arms and kept making silly sounding noises.

"Enough!" Peter said, and everyone stopped. "Lost Boys, this is Mark, Lily, and Amy." The boys waved and greeted them. "Mark, Lily, Amy these are the Lost Boys. I'm their king." He put his hands on his hips and posed. Mark giggled at this and waved to the boys.

"We're the Twins!" The first two boys smiled and waved.

"I'm Nibs!"

"And I'm Tootles!" The boys from the mushrooms waved.

"I'm Curly!" The boy from the grass bowed.

"And I'm Slightly!" The last and oldest boy smiled and saluted the kids.

"Those are the Lost Boys. Would you like to come in?" Peter opened the door to the tree. They all nodded and walked inside, but when Mark was about to enter he shut the door.

"Hey!" Mark laughed.

Peter giggled. "Well, I was wondering if you wanted to come catch mermaids with me?" He held out his hand. Mark took it and they walked off towards the Mermaid's Lagoon.

----------

"Come on! I almost got it that time!" Mark laughed and pulled his net out of the water. Mark and his sisters had been in Neverland for a week now, and mermaid fishing had quickly become Mark's favorite hobby. Mostly because he got a good few hours with Peter every day.

"It's alright, mermaids are really hard to catch. They're vicious
creatures." Peter fiddled with the net in his hands.

"Really?" Mark set his net on the rock they were both sitting on. A mermaid quickly swiped it from him.

"Yeah. They are the most beautiful singers you've ever heard. They attract young sailors to their nest, and have a big mermaid feast." He finished that last sentence with a harsh tone to his voice. Mark looked out to the clear blue waters.

"I can't hear any singing?" Mark asked.

"I'd like to think only idiots can hear them." Peter smirked and Mark laughed. After a few minutes of talking the Lost Boys showed up at the beach. They were yelling and frantically waving their arms, so Peter and Mark swam back to the shore. "Boys what's wrong?" Peter asked.

"AHOY!" A pirate swung from a vine onto the beach. Multiple pirates came running from behind trees and bushes, surrounding the Lost Boys, Peter, and Mark's family. The pirates formed a circle, but space was made for a tall pirate wearing a brown vest and a large hat with crossbones on it.

"Ahoy, Peter. How are you and your fake 'Lost Boys' doing? I see you have new recruits?" The pirate pulled out a long shiny sword.

"Go back to your ship, Starkey!" Peter pulled out his own sword.

The pirate laughed, "I find that I quite like this beach, so I want it." He smiled, bearing his teeth for everyone to see. Peter swung at him with his sword, but Starkey deflected it with his. A battle started between the Lost Boys and the pirates. Lily and Amy ran to the Home Under The Ground while Mark used a spare sword just to defend himself. After a while many of the pirates ran away, leaving only Peter and Starkey to battle and Mark in the sidelines. They went back and forth until Starkey got Peter up against a tree.

"Neverland is my home, and I will do whatever it takes to defend it from you filthy pirates!" Peter tried to keep Starkey's sword away from his neck.

"New generations are to come, Pan, and I will to whatever it takes to defend Hook." Starkey pulled away. Peter was relived only for a moment before Starkey swung at Mark, cutting his side and giving him a large gash. He smugly walked away, leaving Mark to slump to the ground and Peter to run to his side.

~AN~

MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA CLIFF HANGER!

As you can tell this is a MUCH different version of Peter Pan. Everything about this mysterious "Starkey" will be explained in this next and final chapter.

I used a bunch of stuff from the play that I did and the plays I went to see to create a crazy new version of Peter Pan. And now for Fun Fact time!

I played Starkey in the play that I did. I did a British panto version of Peter Pan so it is TOTALLY AND ABSOLUTELY DIFFERENT FROM DISNEY'S PETER PAN.

Anyway, I am writing all of these parts in one sitting so ON TO THE NEXT CHAPTER!
