Jealousy

Me and a childhood friend of mine-Dustin- made a pact when we got our own places every month we'd spend a weekend at each other's house.

This month he's coming over here so I want everything to be perfect. I hook up my chromecast so we can binge watch Netflix.

I already ordered a pizza and have an endless supply of junk food ready to be devoured.
Perks of living on your own.

Even though everyone is convinced we're dating we aren't. He's not my type, he's more like a brother. Plus Dilynn already banged him and I don't do sloppy seconds.

Staring at the bag of popcorn in the microwave a knock on the door pulls me from my daze.

"Dustin." I breathe smiling pulling him in for a hug.

Tristan snatches his door open, standing there shirtless and angry.

What bit him in the ass?

Dustin lets go of me and I swear I hear him growl. Tristan does the same taking long strides to stand in front of Dustin.

"Back down, she's mine." Tristan snaps his eyes turning coal black.

Dustin seems to grow in stature he doesn't come close to Tristan but he's still pretty intimidating.

"She doesn't smell different from the last time I saw her." Dustin bites.

Tristan picks him up and tosses him violently to the ground standing over his body ready to fight.

I step in just before Tristan punches him. His fist misses my face by mere inches. If I would've been slightly taller he probably would've knocked me out instead.

"You both need a timeout, in my apartment right now." I yell grabbing both their arms dragging them inside.

What is wrong with them? I am not some reward, I don't belong to anyone.

"Sit." I command. Dustin sits in one chair reluctantly while Tristan remains standing.

"Queenie I-"

"I wasn't asking you to sit I'm telling you to sit your ass in that chair." I bark which seems to spark something in Tristan.

He takes in a deep breath but sits down like a good boy.

Yeah you better sit.

Feeling pretty damn powerful I pull up a third chair sitting in front of them.

"Someone needs to explain what's going on and now. Dustin I've known you for years so what ever it is that's making you act like this you know you can tell me."

He nods his head smirking, "We've been inseparable since we were kids. Done so much together. All the latenight cuddling in bed. Trips to the beach, movie watching."

The more he talks the angrier Tristan gets. He gets up from his chair punching Dustin square in the face knocking him out cold.

"Tristan really!? Why are you so mad?" I scream.

"I'm sorry I knocked out your fuck buddy." He snarls stomping towards my door.

I follow him out and in to his apartment.

Definitely a man cave.

He sits on his couch still fuming. "I can't believe he got to you before I did. That little shit has probably been hiding you from me. He knew he fucking knew you weren't his."

I plop down next to him throwing my legs up on his lap. "What are you talking about?"

He rubs my legs smiling down at them. "Do you want to know who I am?"
