the beginning

With your eyes staring right at my soul,
all I can wonder is how.

How you're wrecking my every single wall,
as I'm standing still watching you now.

I fed the spark with my own hands, and now my heart is burning with fire.

With the flames devouring every single vine of thought,
that maybe you're just another liar.

It had been a while since I heard myself laugh and talk,
with having nothing to hide.

Without any safety belts around my chest,
holding me back lest the car collide.

I spend hours trying to imprint the memories,
on the paper in form of these words.

Hoping that one day you'll read them in my sweet voice,
whispering into your ears.
