Skylar's POV
I couldn't believe it. Here I stood on stage waiting to preform. My mind went back to a few weeks ago.
Flashback
I walked out of the apartment dressed and ready to go. Reed met me out front. I walked out guitar in hand. He grabbed my hand and we walked towards the Randee site where we would be joining Aron, whoever he was, and going to the location of our first gig.
We sat around for a while working on my song which was currently entitled "Summer" since it wasn't finished. When who I thought must be Aron came in Reed jumped up. He introduced us and we sat around talking for a while before our manager came in.
"Ok, I see you have gotten settled already," he said quickly. "So lets go over the set list." He gave us all a paper with the title of a few songs. It was obvious my dad had picked the songs I would be signing.
"You will be opening with a cover of your choice but it must be a duet." I nodded. "You will also end with a cover of your choice, " he said looking at Reed and I.
I spoke up, "I think we should open with 'Summer Forever' by Megan Nicole and end with 'Everything Has Changed' by Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran." I said and looked as Reed nodded in agreement.
"Well now that we have that settled, Reed, you will then sing 'I Keep Falling In Love' and then Skylar you will sing 'Summer Time' By Cody Simpson and then Reed will sing 'Mercy on Me' then Skylar will sing 'It's You' (that's another one of my original songs) " he said looking at us to see if we understood. We nodded and he continued. " Then you two will give a bit of a speech and then do a cover of 'Highway don't care'" he kept going but I zoned out and just read the set list.
