My Insanity

There was nothing but darkness surrounding me. Then I heard a low chuckle from behind me. "Who is there?" I yelled. "Aw come on y/n I'm heart broken you don't really know who I am." I was so confused, then a girl stepped out of the shadows who looked like me. " now don't tell me you don't know who your own insanity is?" I stood there and fear spread through my body.

" Now I have something to tell you. The only reason your alive is because of me. The moment you show any weakness I will take over and you don't want that now do you?" I shook my head 'no' and a wide smile spread across her face. "Good" Then after she said that black shadows were consuming me. I started kicking and thrashing and the more I struggled the more it consume and fear was taking over my body.

Then I heard someone calling my name. I don't know who it was they just kept screaming for me to wake up. Then a bright light appeared in the shadows. I went to reach for and then everything was covered in the light.

*End of Nightmare*

I opened my heads and I saw a very worried and confused Toby. " Y-y-/n are you okay you were screaming in your sleep." I nodded my head 'yes' and said "Sorry about that Toby I just had a little nightmare is all." He looked a little hesitant at first and said " alright well I'm going back to sleep" "Alright goodnight Toby"  

I laid back down hopping for a better dream. But in the back of my head I was worried what if my insanity does take control what will I do. Guess that is something to worry about in the future.
