Chapter Three

{in the car}
Annie's POV:
"Hello from the outside!", I sing, as one of my favorite songs comes one. As I'm doing that, Emerson talks over me. Thanks. "We are here, kids!", daddy yells. We get out and head into the mall. "Annie, Hay, and Emerson, come with me", mommy says and we walk into justice. "This is cute, mommy!", I say, pointing to a shirt. "Annie! This isn't about you, brat!". I feel my eyes get red and puffy. "Oh" i mumble, looking at Emerson as she snickers.
(Time skip; 3 hours, still at mall)
We FINALLY walk out I justice. Hayley carries her bag, while Emerson carries her 16 bags. I carry, nothing. We walk to a toy store. Again, we walk out, Hayley with one bag, Emerson with twenty. I don't like Emerson, if you can't tell. I don't know why Mommy's being so mean to me. I didn't do anything...
{timeskip; the family is at home. friends such as katie & brennan, liv, brody & wyatt, arden, sydney & luke, and peanut and amanda are at the bratayley household, meeting Emerson.}
Annie's POV:
I'm happy, because all my friends are here!! But of course, they all want to see Emerson. Except Luke and Brennan, there with Caleb downstairs. I'm just sitting outside on the patio, when everyone hears a scream. We run downstairs and there, Brennan, Luke, and Caleb are laughing. "What happened?!", we all ask. "Brennan fell on his ankle, trying to do a flip", Caleb says. Everyone goes upstairs except me, Luke, and ew-emerson. I hug Luke. He kisses my cheek, and Emerson sees it. Ugh.
