"Am I dead" she asked the man clad in an all black tuxedo in a quiet and shaky voice. He towered over her at about 6'4 and he slowly nodded his head. He had his back turned to her as they stood in silence for a few moments, the air filled with unsaid and unanswered questions.
"Why'd you jump?" He asked the short, pale girl with long cascading blonde hair as he turned around to face her. She wore a pastel pink dress, her lips were blue and her figure was thin and dainty.
"Because.." she trailed "Nobody would miss me anyway, everybody hated me. They probably haven't even noticed I'm gone." A tear ran down her face and she spoke quietly as if she was afraid to say the words.
"You couldn't possibly be that ignorant." The man said, calmly and monotone. "You couldn't possibly think that your mother, your father, your brother and sister, all of you friends don't care!" He spat at her loud and yelling as he advanced towards the girl "They are all weeping, crying and screaming their voices raw because you were too selfish and too busy living on your own world of self pity!" He was now practically screaming and he was in her face, spit spewing from his mouth in anger. He recomposed himself, returning to a monotone, uncaring voice. "Your mother kills herself in about-" he checked his watch nonchalantly. "seventy three hours and it's all because of you." The girl broke down in a pool of tears "And your family is never the same again..." The girl cried and cried. Weeping just as her family was doing right now. Eventually when she realised crying got he nowhere she tried vigorously to rid her eyes of tears.
"I don't get to go back, do I?" She asked a small glimmer of hope in her shaky voice.
"Stupid girl, of course not, you've already gotten what you wished for. You're dead." The man responded as he touches her forehead and sent her to her fate with a devilish smirk.
