"Is he going to be okay?" I ask nervously "Yes he's going to be just fine." the nurse says then she writes something down in a folder then leaves and closes the door behind her. I walk over to a near by couch and bury my face in my hands. Then I hear a door creak open "Hey." Ellie whispers and she sits next to me. She rubs my back "It's okay." she says reassuringly "No it's not." I mumble in my hands. "The nurse said he was just fine and they are done monitoring him so we can leave when he wakes up." she says "I just feel really---" I get interrupted by a buzz coming from my phone (ugh a text from henry why do I still have his number?)

Hen: Are you ever going to talk to me?

Char: No

Henry: Well you just replied so you are talking to me

(Why can't he just leave me alone?) I sigh "What's wrong?" she asks furrowing her eyebrows. "It's nothing just a stupid fuckboy who won't leave me alone" I say sarcastically "Do you want me to fix that for you?" she asks with a mischievous look in her eye. "No, I'm good but thanks."I say "Just give me five more minuets mom." Ryan says in his sleep and he waves his hand in the air. "He's such a baby." Ellie says and glances over at him. Then stands up"I'm going to the cafeteria, want anything?" "No thanks." I say "Suite yourself." she leaves and closes the door behind her. I sit there for a while and just look at Ryan sleeping peacefully "What am I gonna do with you?" I sigh and laugh to myself. Then he opens his eyes and looks over at me "Hey." he says in a sleepy voice. I get up and walk over to the bed "You feeling better?" I ask concerned "Never better." he says and I hold his hand "I'm so sorry." I say tearing up. He squeezes my hand gently "It's okay" he says reassuringly. "How can you act like this when I almost killed you?" I ask "You weren't trying to kill me." he says "But----" I say "No buts." he shushes me with his finger."Your such a good friend." I say "I know." he says sarcastically. I hear the door swing open and a nurse comes through the door "Ryan your free to go." the nurse says and leaves. "Finally it's so boring here." he says and get out of bed still wearing a hospital gown "You have really nice legs ryan." I nod in approval. "I know right." he says in a girly voice then poses to show off his legs. "Just go change." I laugh, walk out of the room and close the door behind me. I see Ellie walking towards me drinking some coca-cola. "Is he coming?" she asks "Yea, just changing." I say then the door swings open behind me "Ready to go?" he asks. I nod and we walk to the front desk sign the release papers. We get to the parking lot "I call shoot gun!" I yell and jump in the passenger seat.

(In the car)

Ellie was really focused on the road and I got bored after a while on my phone (why not turn on the radio?) then I hear one of my favorite songs "OMG IT'S ON!" I yell "What's on?" Ryan says "Anaconda!" I say excitedly "Yes!" he says and we start singing along:
