I've missed you........(Chapter 19)

(At home)

"TAKE IT ALL IN, THEY'RE WATING FOR YOU!!!" I sing into a fake microphone (that may, or may not be my hairbrush) and dance stupidly around my room. I turn to a different song and turn the music up louder "BUT MY HEART DON'T UNDERSTAND, WHY I GOT YOU ON MY MIND!!" I keep dancing around crazy causing me to stub my toe on the edge of the open door leading to the balcony "SHIT!!" I scream and fall to the ground. Suddenly I hear clapping, so I look up over my balcony and in the house next door to see Levi clapping and cheering for me "Keep going, I didn't mean to interrupt." he says sarcastically (Ahhhh......Levi Griffin- the definition of an amazing best friend)

-You probably thought I was going to say he was a fuckboy or something right?---Well he is......but a funny one

-Let me tell you how it all started

*******FLASHBACK***********

We met at about the same time I met Jasper............in 6th grade

After my first day of school in Swellview, I didn't finish unpacking the day before, so that's pretty much what I was doing..........

I turn on some music to dance to because I got bored, and tried of taking stuff out of boxes "What to listen to?" I think for a moment. Scanning the room I spot doors that lead to a balcony "Oh cool." I open the doors and take in the beautiful scenery (someone's unclean bedroom) "Anyway, let's get back to the task at hand." I absentmindedly leave the doors open, then finally decided on some music to listen to "I live my day as if it was the last." I sing softly to the beat of the music "Live my day as if there was no past." I sing then I decide on switching to a different song "Yasssss." I grab a random hairbrush I found on the floor and start singing along "I'M A BOSS ASS BITCH!!!." I scream into the hairbrush and dance around. Then I hear laughing, turning around slowly I see a kid clutching his stomach laughing his ass off at me in the bedroom next door "Nice dance moves." he snickers "Thanks." I take a bow and he laughs even harder "Who's the concert for?" he asks sarcastically "The boxes, durr." I say in an obvious tone, and gesture towards all the boxes lying around "You're funny." he chuckles softly "I know." I say sarcastically "Can I come to one of your famous concerts one day?" he asks "Let me check." I pretend to think for a moment "Yep, I think there's one more free opening." I say sarcastically "I think I'm going to like you." he nods his head in approval "I think so too." I laugh softly

We became pretty much inseparable fairly quickly.........But since he went to a private school, every day after school we would hang out

He was pretty much my rock..........

But then in 8th grade he was sent off to a fucking boarding school............

"Why can't you just stay here with me." my tears start soaking his shirt "I'll be back one day, I promise." he says reassuringly "Don't forget me." mumble into his chest "Why would I?" We let go and he wipes the tears from my face "Best friends forever." he holds out his pinkie "Forever and ever." I link pinkies with him and give him one last tight hug before he leaves. I wave goodbye, he smiles and waves back, and then they drive off. I just stand outside in the same spot for what felt was like hours, until my parents dragged my back inside the house. 

******FLASHBACK OVER******* 

"LEVI!!!" I scream over the railing, he laughs and gestures for me to come over. I sprint downstairs and run outside to see him standing there arms open "Levi!" I jump into his arms "I've missed you so much." I mumble into his chest. Tears start forming in my eyes, I tried to stay strong and control them. But my emotions take over my and I started crying "I've missed you too." he mumbles in my hair. We let go and I wipe the tears out of my eyes and punch his shoulder "I hate you." I say "I know." he says sarcastically then we crack up "We need to catch up, like right now." I grab his hand and walk to a nearby park and sit on some empty swings "So when did you come back?" I stare ground and watch my feet swing back and forth "Last night." he says "Oh......" We sit in an awkward silence then I get off the swing and stand up "Charlie......" he looks up and smirks at me (wait......I know that look) "No!" I back up a little bit "Yea." he says and gets up quickly "No, no!" I turn to run away but he catches up to me "Got you." he whispers in my ear and starts tickling me "S-stop." I laugh uncontrollably until tears are steaming down my face. Then he finally stops "Two years later, and you're still extremely ticklish." he smirks at me "Two years later, and you're still extremely annoying." I smirk back at him "How did you know?!" he says shocked and puts a hand over his heart "So, how long do we have till you leave again?" I ask sadly and look at the ground "I'm not leaving." he says nonchalantly "WHAT, ARE YOU SERIOUS!" I scream and he nods "What, why, how?" I ask calming down "I decided that I would rather spend my last two years of high school in Swellview, than at boarding school." he shrugs his shoulders "Levi........" I trail off and surprise him with a really tight hug "Whoa, when did you get so strong?" he hugs me back and I let him go "Two years is a long time." I say and show off my non-existent muscles and he chuckles softly. Then I really start taking in his features (He got his braces off, and I'm guessing he wears contacts now, and his acne cleared up nicely and he gained a good amount muscle~damn) "Levi, when did you get so hot?!" I make a fake shocked face "Babe, I was always hot." he winks at me "But what happened to you?!" he looks me up and down "A ruler turned into an hourglass how did that happen?!" he says shocked "Well, it takes skill." I say sarcastically. Suddenly I hear laughing, I turn around to see Jasper and Chloe walking towards us holding hands. I grab Levi's arm quickly and drag him behind a bush "Why are we---" I shush him and peek over the bushes and go back down "Why are we behind a bush?!" He whispers furiously "Jasper's on a date, and I don't want to ruin it." I whisper quietly then Levi peeks his head over the bush and comes back down "Good choice." he nods in approval and I slap his arm really hard "What, she's hot." he whispers and rubs his arm "She's the biggest slut in Swellview." I whisper furiously "Still hot though." He makes googly eyes at her "You're disgusting." I roll my eyes and peek back over the bush "Finally they're gone." I stand up and wipe dirt off of my pants (at least I wore dark jeans today) "Didn't know Jasper had it in him, score." Levi nods in approval and I punch his shoulder "What's with the hitting today?!" he pouts and rubs his arm "Stop saying stupid stuff, then you won't get hit." I say sarcastically "Let's get back." Levi says "Piggy-back ride?" I pout and give my best puppy dog face "Sure, get on." he gestures to get on, so I jump on his back.

(One piggy-back ride later) 

"Wait......if you got here last night, why didn't you go to school today?" I jump off his back "Why would I?" he says in an obvious tone "True." I nod in agreement then we walk into his house and I'm greeted by his mom "Charlotte" she says "Lacey." She pulls me in a tight hug "Nice to see you again." she says politely "You to." I say and let go "Come on." Levi gestures towards his room upstairs. When we get up there he opens the door "Aww, it still looks the same since last time." I walk in and look around "Do you want me to help with the boxes." I say gesturing towards the hundreds of boxes lying around "I mean if you want to." he shrugs his shoulders and flops on his bed. I open a random box I find on the floor (it's filled with random knickknacks) I take them out and place them all together on a shelf. Then I pick up a small chest nearby and open it (there was a whole bunch of random stuff, but then something caught my eye---a bracelet I made for his birthday in 6th grade)

*********FLASHBACK********   

I hand him the nicely wrapped present (it was a yarn woven friendship bracelet that said Levi on it~ took me about a month to make #notskilled) he opens the little box and takes it out "This is so cool, thanks Charlie." he puts the bracelet on and pulls me into a tight bear hug.

He wore the bracelet every day until the day he left.........he put it in the box so he wouldn't lose it on the way there....

******FLASHBACK OVER********

"Awww, you still have this." I take it out of the chest and hold it up "Oh, yea." he chuckles softly and sits up "I kept everything you've even given me in that chest." he gets up and from the chest he takes out half a heart necklace that says: "Charlotte" on the front "Remember when I got you this?" he asks and I take out the other half from under my shirt that says Levi on it "I wear it every day." I turn it around and read the engraved words on the back: "To my favorite Charlie......You're fucking hot" I chuckle softly, I take his side and read it:  "To Levi......You're the hottest studmuffin alive" I give it back to him "The heart tells the truth." he looks at my intently "You mean mine." I ask furrowing my eyebrows "No, I meant mine." he says in an obvious tone "But you're hot too." he winks at me. I shove him away from me. We spend the rest of the day catching up and unpacking boxes "Finally, we're done." I flop down onto a really comfortable looking beanbag chair and sink into its softness. "Can I take this with me?" I ask slowly closing my eyes "Sure." he says sarcastically "What time is it?" I mumble and sit up "11:30." he says "I need to get home before my parents freak out." I get up and start towards the door "Let me walk you." he gets up quickly "My house is right there." I point out the window towards my house "But, It's nighttime." he says "Ok......and" I say really confused "I'm walking you." he says being really stubborn "Fine, whatever." We go downstairs and go outside to the front door of my house. I get on my tippy-toes and hug him really tight "Don't ever leave me again." I mumble on his shoulder "I won't." he whispers and we let go, then he waves and walks back to his house. I unlock the front door and drag myself upstairs "So tired." I drag myself into the shower. After I was done I quickly get into under the covers and fall fast asleep.
