Emma Swan had just turned 19 and graduated from high school, She had spent her whole life in foster care never staying in one place for to long. Always bouncing from foster home to foster home.
That was until she landed in New Yorks foster care system. She was 14 when she first came to New York and ended up staying here for 5 years.
On her first day of school she meet a girl named Ruby, they instantly clicked that was 5 years ago. Now they had graduated and had started renting there own apartment, it was small but cozy and perfect for the two of them.
Emma and Ruby were the closest two best friend could be. Ruby was all that Emma had, Ruby was Emma's only family.
Ruby always made Emma feel loved she had someone she could talk to about anything and everything.
They both have good jobs as waitresses at Ruby's grandmothers diner granny's.
One day after a long shift Emma was walking home when she got distracted by something in the nearby alley when she suddenly bumps into someone. She finds herself standing in front of a very charming man named "Killian Jones."
After there meeting they grow closer and suddenly her life is flipped upside down.
As there relationship grows they will be faced with more and more challenges. What happens when Emma's old habits come back and Killian finds out what Emma wasn't telling him.
Will there relationship last?
