I Think I'll Like It Here

I woke up and rubbed at my eyes. 8:34 is what my clock reads. I sit up and take a long yawning stretch. I get up and leave my room. I glance at Murdocs door and I take a deep breath. I walk downstairs to see noodle and 2D arguing over cereal. I laugh a little. "Morning 2d..and noodle" I greeted as I walked in. "Oh hallloo Raven, good morning" she says getting me a bowl an spoon. "thank you" I say to her. "Morning Raven" 2d says as I take a seat at the table with them. "where's Russ and Murdoc?" I ask pouring some cereal. "Russ usually wakes up around noon that guy" 2d tells me. "Mudzy is somewhere. He disappears a lot" noodle says.

I thought about last night and what he did. I should feel uncomfortable but I'm not sure how I felt but I certainly didn't want my first night to end like that. He's got a lot of nerve that's for sure, I just didn't exactly wanna face him but if I'm staying here then tough shit. Plus I think that's just his dark humor. "Ey mornin to ya doll face" I hear murdoc say as he enters the room. "Good morning" I say. 

He sits across from me. I pretend to be so focused on eating my cereal to avoid eye contact but I look up anyway to find him smiling. 

The rest of the day Murdoc was out of the house. Noodle showed me the recording room. I smiled when I walked in. "this is really cool.." I said. I sat at a drumset and started playing, a few minutes in and I was having a blast. "I'll be damned. I like this girl" I got startled and looked up to see that ghost again, Russel standing at his side. 2d standing by noodle with his arms folded, smiling. I get up. "sorry if this was..." I began.

"No your fine sugar, the names Del" he says. "Your name is Raven right?" I nod and smile at him. "well raven you kick some ass on the drums". I laugh a little. "Can you play guitar?" Noodle asks. "Yeah my dad taught me when I was younger" I answer. I took a spare guitar and me and noodle began to play some songs together as the boys listened. 

During our playing a loud bass begins to play and we look over to see murdoc in the room playing. My eyes go a little wide in amazement. Russel shook his head. "Show off.." He muttered. His earns a grin from murdoc. I watched as he played, his different colored eyes focused as he plays. He finishes and he looks right at me.  "That was amazing Mudzy" I tell him.  He winks at me. 

Shortly after the others leave the room. Leaving me alone with murdoc. "I have to ask you something" I say leaning back against something, watching him put his guitar away. "What is it love?" He asks walking over to me. "Why did I wake up last night in your bed?" I ask getting to the point. "I don't know" he guesses and I squint my eyes at him. "I didn't mind if you slept in my room" he says. I look at his different colored eye. 

"Russel and I are making dinner any suggestions?.." 2d pokes his head in and asks shifting his gaze from me to murdoc. "Actually can I help to?" I ask getting that goofy smile from him. As I walk out I look at murdoc to find him looking at me. 

After dinner me and Noodle and Russel watched different movies but eventually I fell asleep during one of the movies
