                                                                          INTRODUCTION

           "I, am Dimitrius Bellator. Before i go into the actual story, i will tell you of the history of the land. Hundreds of years before I was born, The Bellator's moved from their old country, which name was erased from history because of a demon invasion. Most lands and nations were Erased, or completely demolished because of similar fates. Everyone from all over the world, was at war at this time, and the Demon's took advantage of this, and started taking over. The nations united and defeated these demons....but the world was devastated. Society was rebuilt over the years. All cultures, now mixed. Everyone had accents, and differences, but we learned to live together. Wars occasionally broke out over time, but it is mainly peaceful."

          "My home town; Which my family helped found, Bonus Substantia; (Good Essence in Latin) is one of the most respected villages in the land. My family was rumored to have "Mystical Powers". With these so called "Powers" we supposedly put a seal on the village; which keeps out anything evil or of bad intent. The source of the barrier is in the middle of our village, inside the tournament arena. In the middle of this arena there is a pillar; about waist height on an average human male, with my family crest on it. The crest is a Bow N' Arrow crossed with a Dagger, with an orb around it; symbolizing magic. This barrier is said to be one of the most powerful seals ever known."

    "Now i will speak of chi. All creatures of the world have chi. Chi is your spiritual strength. It is said that in the old days magic users could manipulate chi  and use it as a weapon. The stronger the chi, the stronger the overall individual is. Chi is either good chi or bad chi, all depending on your intent. It changes and can be strengthened or weakened from powerful emotions towards something or your mood at the time. Chi is invisible to the eye, it can only be seen if the individual can manipulate chi, or has very strong chi ratings."

          "Now that you know of the land, i will tell you a bit about our culture. When society was rebuilt, guns were outlawed. It was more of an unspoken law than a written law. You see, honor is very important in this day and age. Using a gun against any race instantly gives you the label of trash. Even most gangs don't use guns. The only time guns are acceptable, are against Wild animals, and Demons."

         "As a child, your primary concern is school work. At the age of 10, it is customary to receive your first weapon. You train with this weapon until you are 13 with your mentor; which is usually your father. Every year; all the 13 year old's come together for a tournament called "The Exam". During "The Exam", the boys fight each other until their opponent surrenders, or is incapable of continuing. There are rarely ANY casualties, for there teacher normally stops any fatal blows. The higher your score, the better your career choices. After "The Exam", the individuals pick there career. They than study as apprentices until their teacher is incapable of continuing there job."
