I awoke to the sound of a scream. It echoed through the house, giving me goosebumps. I broke out into a sweat hoping it was a dream. I knew, but didn't want to admit i was wrong. "Mother!" I yelled as I jumped out of my bed. I grabbed my Stilehto knife and scrambled for the door, tripping over myself, still tired. I grabbed at the handle and threw open the door, hearing more screeches of pain I ran for the stairs.

The blood curdling yells grew louder as I reached the bottom of the steps. I ran through the foyer and threw open the door to the kitchen open. My mind went blank. Everything was in slow motion. I yelled out but nothing seemed to come out. "mother!" Her body dropped to the floor, clothes bloodstained. Her long, once lushious blonde hair seemed frayed. Her eyes slowly closed.  A man in black stood above her. Holding a dagger soaked in crimson blood.

He looked at me and licked the blood off the dagger and smirked. "If you live, ill be seeing you again!" I ran at him, full intent to kill. "You bastard!!!" I yelled as loud as I could as I thrust my knife at him. He disappeared in an instant. A single ember of fire fell from where he stood and as soon as it hit the floor, the house burst into flames. I dropped in front of my mother sobbing. I held her in my arms. "Mother! why!" She coughed and opened her eyes a little bit. "My baby boy...It is up to you to continue the Bellator name...run...while you can....I love you my precious son..." she coughed again and went limp. I stood as the fire burned the house. I grabbed my bow off the table in the kitchen, and ran for the door. Fire blockaded it. I looked around frantically and coughed from the smoke. I saw a window and ran for it. Tears streamed from my eyes as I smashed through the window. I hit the grass hard and rolled. I stood up, my hair in my face; tears streaming from my eyes and looked at what once was my home. Which was now turning to ash. "Rest in peace mother...I will avenge you..."

I went to the top of the hill and looked around. The whole village is on fire. My eyes opened up wide in horror. All around me, friends i knew, shopkeeps, neighbors, everyone fighting. Everyone dying. Then I saw him. Through all the smoke and ash, at the edge of the village he stood. Ryumaru stood there among the chaos, unscathed. It was him! He must've broken the seal. I must kill him.

I grabbed an Arrow from my quiver, put it on the bowline and took aim. I aimed it right for his heart. I never miss. I let go of the bowstring and the arrow left my hand. But as the arrow took off I was tackled, and I jerked the bow. I lay on the ground and looked forward and saw my arrow landed near his feet as he left the village. I had failed.

I got up and looked at my attacker. It was a black sillohette. "I may only be a C ranked demon, but i can still use a weapon!" The Sillohette said as he swung at me with a katana that materialized from no where. I blocked but as I tried to part my bow I was hit by the handle of his weapon. I fell to the floor and started to black out. I remember hearing screams and wails of agony. But...I also think I heard my attacker screetch in pain...
