His Second Appearance

Claires' POV

I headed towards math class still thinking about what just have happened.

I arrived at Math class late. Everyone stared at me, and I mean everyone. Luckily the teacher was too busy looking at her computer so I slid into the first seat I found.

Just when I thought I got away with it she said, "You thought I didn't see that did you Miss Claire?"

"No....." I looked around and the board said Ms. Miller in cursive. I continued my sentence, " .....Ms. Miller." I responded.

"Go to the office and get a tardy slip, and

never come into my class like that again. Understand?"

"Yes." I said.

Great. My first day and I'm already in trouble. This isn't normally like me. I feel... different. Like there was another voice inside me.

I arrived at a door with a sign on the door that said "Office". I sighed and opened the door. I saw a girl that looks like in her early 30's typing on the computer.

I sighed and said, " Do you have any tardy slips?"

There was no response.

I said again even louder, "Do you have any tardy slips?!"

She then turned around with an angry look on her face and said, " You, young lady should not yell at an adult like that. You ask nicely."

Now she was getting on my nerves.

I then tried to be as nice as possible saying this, "I'm sorry but, when I seemed to ask you, you did not respond so I tried to say it louder so you can hear me. So now that I have your attention, do you have any tardy slips?"

She looked at me like I was an idiot, then she said, "In case you haven't noticed the box in that corner with capital letters that say TARDY SLIPS are what you were looking for."

Apparently I was an idiot.

"Thankyou." I said.

I then turned around to go get a tardy slip but, then I saw a familiar face sitting in a chair by the window. I stared at him confusingly and then I said with confidence, "Do I know you?"

He looked at me and said, " No, but I know you."

"What do you mean?"

He said, " I mean, that I know you and you will know me soon too."

I looked at his hazel/brown eyes and I could say he was attractive. We stared at each others eyes. He had such beautiful ones.

"Why don't I see you around here?" I said breaking the silence.

Then the lady on the computer interrupted the conversation and said, "Who are you talking to?"

I looked at her and said, "I'm talking to...." but I stopped in the middle of the sentence and looked back at the chair. It was empty. Nothing was there. Nada.

"Nevermind." I said.

I was really confused now. It was just like exactly like what happened in the morning. I blinked and...... POOF! Gone. I filled out my tardy slip and walked towards the door. But, before I went out the door I looked back at the chair one last time to make sure he wasn't there. He wasn't there, so I walked out the door and headed towards Math class.
