Chapter 6-What In Hades Is Going On?????

When I finally came to my senses I realized that I was standing in front of my dad, Hades.

I knelt and said, "Father, to what do we owe this honor of your visit?"

"Get up, Alessandra! I have a quest for you. I need you three and seven more to go on this quest, so go get your friends!" spoke Hades.

"Father, isn't the normal number for a quest 3?" questioned Eaton in a concerned tone.

"Yes, Eaton, but this isn't normal at all. So have your friends join you." Hades had just finished saying that before he disappeared into the shadows.

I was perplexed. I hadn't been on this planet for more than a day and Hades already wanted me and my friends to go on a quest.

"Alessandra! Alessandra! Alessandra!" I heard. Eaton was trying to get my attention.

"Huh..?" I was dazed and had zoned out, I assumed.

"Let's go talk to Cheron about what dad said."

"Oh, right...we should do that." I said slowly, making sure my mind processed everything.

We started to walk to the counselor house, slowly because it was after lights out and we didn't want to be seen or heard until we got there.

Once we arrived at the counselors' house we practically broke in. Cheron flew down the stairs, literally, and we in front of us before we could say anything, and truth be told, she looked annoyed that we were out of our cabin at such a late time.

"Why are you out of bed at this time?" asked Cheron.

"Hades payed us a visit, he wants us and seven more demigods to go on a quest." I say monotonously.

"Well, did he give you a prophecy?" questioned Cheron.

"No, he just said 10 demigods NEED to go on this quest, and without further detail...left." Than said annoyed at Cheron's persistence.

"Are there any prophecies involving 10 demigods?" asked Eaton, "Or Hades perhaps?"

Cheron turned toward a bookshelf covered in old books that seem to be broken beyond repair. She grabbed a book that said 2015 on the spine and opened it.

"Here is a book of prophecies said to happen this year. Check and see if one fits your situation." murmured Cheron, in deep thought.

We opened the book and immediately started reading skipping over prophecies already used.
