Erin is played by:  Raina Hein

My black knee high boots echoed through the long white corridor.  I sighed and stopped listening to the soft classical music. Bile built up in my throat but I swallowed it.  I continued to walk the music getting louder.  My black/brown hair was tied up in a messy bun.  I didn't want to get blood in my hair.

The large black door stared back at me.  A small window showed girls.  Beautiful girls dancing, they were in pink and white tutus and had a bun on top of their heads.  Ballet. I applied my shaky hand to the gold door knob and twisted it ever so slightly.  I opened the door and the music stopped and screams were replaced.   There were no dancers except for one, on the floor.  Her blood hair was matted with blood and she was bleeding from her mouth, probably ruining the white tiles.  She was on her knees sitting up as straight as she could.  Tears streamed down her face as I walked closer to her.  I got down to her level and grabbed her chin forcing her to look at me in the eyes.  She knew what was happening.

"This is her.  Isn't she beautiful?" I turned to see Mrs. Aines speaking softly.  I nodded in response.  I didn't talk much.

"You Erin Giane have been chosen to be an assassin!  You have been here all your life waiting to go to the outside world!  But first you must kill to prove yourself worthy!" Aines shouted.

Aines shoved the muzzle of the gun into my lower back.  I quickly spun around and grabbed the gun.  Bile rose up in my throat but I swallowed it once more.

"Finish her!" She shouted.

The girl cried harder.  I walked in front of her and aimed the gun at her head.  I held my breath and put my index finger on the trigger.

One.
Two.
Three.

I pulled the trigger.  The gold bullet penetrated her head slowly but quickly. Her eyes stayed open as she fell backwards. A puddle of blood formed almost instantly.  I turned towards Aines and she clasped her hands together and smiled.

"A beautiful kill!" She said pulling me into a hug. Her corse blonde hair scratched my cheeks. She pulled away.

"Now, Erin you will go out into the world to kill. You will attend JamesView High School and kill. You will live in a house that will have everything you need to survive. Every week you will get a check and every month you are assigned to kill. There is a boy with the name River Jackstone you must kill him. Now go!" She said.

I sighed knowing that I will feel and do things I have never done before. I opened the black door closing it behind me, the music started again. I have been in this place since birth leaving was a scary thought.

The sun was brighter than I thought it would be. It stung my eyes when I looked at it. The grass, dirt, trees, and sky were strange, they were to colorful. Aines gave me the address to my home so I didn't get lost. The wood house had an old vibe to it even though it seemed brand new. The windows were shiny, the front door was newly painted, and the wood was new. The door was painted a vibrant blood red that drew a lot of attention, I didn't like that. I opened the door to see darkness. My hands scurried around the wall for the light switch. When I found it I realized how beautiful the house was.

The walls were painted black, red, and white, my favorite colors. The floor was wood giving the house warmth. To the left was the living room, to the right was the kitchen, and ahead was my room. I took a left to see the furniture covered in plastic. I instantly took them off putting them in a pile for later. The paint was all red in this room. A black couch and black recliner gave it character. Roses were on every table. A TV hung up on the wall in front of the couch, I turned it on.

I left the living room and went to the kitchen. The kitchen was gray. Pots and pans hung above the counter top. I opened the fridge finding already made food, chicken and rice, salad, waffles and eggs, and other foods. The dining room was in front of the counter. The bright circular table gave the room life.

I left the kitchen to go to my room. My room was white. The simple queen bed was pressed against the left wall. The bed was also white but had a thick single red line across the top.  A teddy bear decorated it nicely.  My closet was on the opposite side of the bed which was filled with dark clothing.  A bathroom was near my closet and filled with all the utilities I could possibly need.
