He did something to me. I wanted to ignore the thought but he kept on coming back. His eyes, his nose, his lips...  The frustration drove me to tears. I started bawling gripping my hair and pulling some strands out. I rocked myself back and forth my whole body shaking with fear.

I jumped when I heard the doorbell ring. What if it is River. I can't let him see me like this. I ran to the bathroom and saw my that my nose, eyes, and cheeks were red. My hair was frizzy and out of its bun. I fixed my hair waiting for the redness to dissipate. My eyes were still red but it was good enough. A smile crept to my face. I walked to the door taking a deep breath before opening the door. My smile drooped when I didn't see him. I looked around the door but no one was there. Out of the corner of my eye I saw a yellow piece of paper. I ripped it off the door and read it.

Here is my number - 555-0383 - Text me!!

I smiled and folded it putting it into my pocket for later. Do I even have a phone? I rushed to my room looking for a phone. I'm sure Aines bought me one.  I looked on top of my dresser and found the holy grail of everything.  A black iPhone laid flat on my dresser.  I picked it up and pressed the home button.  The phone shined in my face.  I quickly went to contacts and put him in

      River Jackstone💀🔫

I texted him.

Me:  hey

He immediately responded.

Him: hello Erin Giane what are you doing.

Me: nothing

Him: you can't be doing nothing that's impossible

Me: well then I guess I'm texting you what are you doing

Him: listening to music

Me: what band? What song?

Him: Green Day. 21 guns
Him: you need to listen to Fall Out Boy, Panic! At The Disco, Foo Fighter, and Green Day.

Me: I don't have any music

He stopped responding.

I guess he lost interest.  He must think I'm crazy.

A ring deleted my thoughts.  I rushed to the front door and quickly opened it.  River stood there with about 7 CDs.

"Oh my gosh! River! Come on in," I said moving out of the way. He came through the door easily carrying the CDs.

"Where is your room?" He asked.

I led him to my room opening the door. He put the CDs on my dresser and went to the CD player.

"Toss me the CD on the top, please," he said.

I grabbed the CD and looked at it. Fall Out Boy Take This To Your Grave. I tossed it to him. He caught it and put it in.

"This first song is called Dead on Arrival," he said as he grabbed some headphones that were laying on the CD player. He plugged them in and turned down the volume. He slowly put them on me examining my face. He looked to interested.

The song immediately rung in my ears. I listened to it.

i hope this is the last time
'cause i'd never say no to you
this conversation's been dead on arrival
and there's no way to talk to you
this conversation's been dead on

a rivalry goes so deep between me
and this loss of sleep over you

this is side one
flip me over
i know i'm not your favorite record
the songs you grow to like never stick at first
so i'm writing you a chorus
and here is your verse

no, it's not the last time
'cause i'd never say no to you
this conversation's still dead on arrival
and there's no way to talk to you
when you're dead on

a rivalry goes so deep between me
and this loss of sleep over you

this is side one
flip me over

whoo!
this is side one
flip me over
i know i'm not your favorite record
so-o-o-o

this is side one
flip me over

It basically went on like that for a long time. We sat in my room listening to music eating some spaghetti I got from the fridge. It was great. I could feel his eyes watching me the whole time. I don't know if it's good or bad but I feel good.

*Should River have a POV?*
