Freedoms Love (Captain Levi)

Eventually

Levi and his squad are walking back to their headquarters. Levi slows his pace, waiting for Oluo to slow with him.

"What is it Olue? You've been staring at me ever since the nest" Levi asked coldly.

"Is this to do with vampires?" Oluo hissed.

"Keep it down" Levi growled, flashing his eyes.

After a minutes silence to gather his nerve again Oluo asks shakily "Did you know what she meant?"

"About the Soul eaters? No" Levi grumbled, wishing he knew more though he did have a feeling who knew more. Erwin...he trusted them with his life but he was a bastards sometimes and refused to tell him anything.

"You think Erwin knows more?" Oluo wondered.

Levi blinked.

Had he said that out loud? Shit...

"Hange and Mike to. They never tell me things. They're always keeping secrets, the shit heads" Levi said, scowling.

Oluo frowned, thinking it through "You wearn't turned that long ago, compared to them anyway. You're fairly knew to this so...?"

"So?" Levi asked rudely.

"So, maybe they are just trying to protect you"  Oluo tells him as they arrive at their headquarters. The other squad members.

"Protect me?" Levi said, seriously? He'd almost killed all of them once and they could want to protect him? That didn't make sense...

Accept it did, maybe a little bit.

Erwin's voice floated inside his head "I do care about you"

They walked up to the office space where they could hear the squad talking about what had gone on.

Just as Levi was about to go inside Oluo grabbed his arm, quickly letting go at his captains look.

"You know you're going to have to tell you're squad what you are, eventually"  Oluo said slowly. 

They listened in more as his squad got more and more confused about the crazy vampire.

Levi grimaced, he  nodded but then said "Eventually. Doesn't mean I can't try and put if of as long as I can" With that he walked in. Oluo close behind.
