The Springer Children

Connie's bright young face looked up at him in awe as he asked exitedly "The hunting hero?"

"That's right" She said then she asks him to call his sister and brother, their parents had left already.

"Martin! Sunny? She's here!" Connie shouted

A kids voice shrieked out, much younger than Connie's and much higher though still a boys voice "Yay!"

While Connie looked around nine or ten years old, the boy that came into view was four years old, he ran into view almost falling on his face, he had the same hair color as Connie but was a bit chubbyier and more rounder looking, his eyes sparkled with a innocence of a small baby, not quite old enough to be a child yet not quite young enough to be a toddler still.

"Laura" He cried happily, hugging her foot.

She giggled, though bent down slowly removing him from her but rustling his hair as she did so, affection deep in Laura's eyes.

Sunny soon came into view, she jumped up and down as she welcomed Laura, just as bubbly as her brothers. She was looked around six, her hair in bunches but sticking out in odd ends. She doesn't care who Levi is, only if he wants to play, which she asks in such a rush Levi almost doesn't hear her.

Laura steps inside, she nods at Levi to follow, he does hesiantly, should he really be doing this? But as soon as he gets inside his bombarded by children.

"Can you play with me? I got a new toy that-"

"No, play with me" Sunny whines, ignoring Levi's oddly cold skin and pulling on his uniform.

"When did you meet? Is this the guy you wouldn't stop talk-"

Laura put her hand over Connie's mouth quickly, her face flushing.

Levi with held a smirk.

Though it quickly vanished as Connie poked him "Why you so cold and pale? You ill?"

He turned to Laura concern over the hero everybody looked up to around, especially around his age, most kids wanted to grow up to be like him, killing all those vampires must be so much fun and to be like a hero!

"Is he ill?"

Meanwhile Martin and Sunny where still arguing over who got to play with Levi first.

Sunny screeched as Martin pulled on her hair and then he yelped as she grabbed on to his.

"Stop it!" Laura told them, seperating the two kids, who were still trying to tug and war with each other's hair.

"You know what, maybe you should go and come back another time when things are..." Laura trailed of, frowning.

"Calmer?" Levi offered, amusement layered his voice as he watched the arguing siblings.

She nodded, still holding them at bay.

Levi ignores Connie's protests as he backs out of the door but not before asking, he had to ask "Where can I find you?"

"I'm at the baker's once every week for four hours, though you are more likely to see me getting escorted here every Wednesday and Thursday" She said then Laura added feeling brave suddenly "I could use a handsome escort"

Connie opened his mouth to say something that probably would have been cheeky but Laura slapped him over the head, gentle enough not to hurt but hard enough to make sure he didn't say anything.

Levi did smirk inside and out this time. Laura looked a little flustered as if she didn't know what had come over her but her smile widened as Levi replied "Of course"
