- Chapter 3

It's been 2 weeks since I've been having these crazy dreams. Mom and dad are worried about me. They want to put me in threapy. I don't want to go to threapy, it'll feel weird.

Since I've been having these strange dreams, everything feels different. When I wake up, go to school, if I'm home alone, I just feel like I'm being... Watched, I know it may sound crazy but its true! I don't understand.

I was pulled out of my thoughts when I heard my dad calling my name

"Lindsey!"

I quickly got up and went to the kitchen with them.

"Oh hey dad, hey mom", I smiled.

" Hey honey", my mom said.

"Are ok this morning?", my dad asked me.

" Oh yeah I'm fine", I said lying.

"Ok good, well me and your mother have to go work for a while"

"How long?", I ask.

" Only two months ", my mom says.

" Ok", I sigh giving them a hug.

"Be safe guys", I say.

"We will sweetie", my dad says.
I watched them leave and wave goodbye. I just wish sometimes I could a little more time with them.

I sigh to myself and sit down on the couch. I turn on tv, and went to get a snack. And there it was again. That "thing" I always see, why can't it leave me the hell along!? I start hearing something whisper my name. I quickly run to the cabinet and grab a pan. "Lindsey"

"Stay back!", I yell. And then I remembered my dad had gave me some pepper spray a while back. " I have a pan!.. And paper spray!". All of a sudden there was a knock on door. I looked at door and the turned back around to see... Nothing? I guess I do need therapy. Oh my god am I crazy? No, I couldn't be. I know what I saw.

"Lindsey!". I opened the door and it was my best friend " Raven".

"Oh hey Raven!", I smiled happily.

" Lindsey!", she yelled happily.

"How was your trip?", Raven went on a trip to California for about three weeks.

" Omg! You would've loved it Lindsey!"

"I'm pretty sure I would've. So you had fun?"

"Oh tons! But it would've been funner with you", she said with a sad smile.

" Yeah. But you're back home now. That's all that matters. Come on let's go to my bedroom", I say and she follows.

"So where's your mom and dad", she asked.

" They just left for a business trip "

"Oh that sucks"

"Yeah".

After all the fun we had, we decided to go to bed.

" Hey does you mom and dad know you're spending the night with me?", I ask.

"Yeah I called them earlier and I also told them that your mom and dad are on a business trip but they said they already knew that. You know? Since they're really good friends".

I nod my head getting comfortable on the bed.

" Night Rav".

"Goodnight Linds".

We both give each other and hug and fall asleep.

We're like sisters both than friends. We grew up together, since our parents are really good friends. We've always done everything together. And we never go to sleep without saying goodnight to each other.
