My brain was no longer connected to my body. I was trying to fill my head with as many thoughts as possible to distract myself from the terrible pain I was in.

I forced my now bleeding feet to keep moving. No matter how many times my brain screamed at them to stop.

There was nothing in sight but trees & the odd animal.

I had no idea how long I had been running or where the fuck I was. All I focused on was keeping my feet moving.

The slowly brightening sky, means i must have been running for at least 5 hours.

Looking forward again I saw that I was now in clearing at the base of a hill. On the top of the hill was what looked to be a tiny church or building of some sort.

I ducked down, not wanting to be spotted until I was sure it was safe. I crept along the Amazon floor like a leopard. Observing its prey & trying to figure out the best way to attack.

Slowly I started to climb the not so steep hill. Although it felt like Mount Everest, with the way my body was aching.

I stopped once I reached the top & looked around wildly. Ready to defend myself if necessary, I was not going to "come quietly" after making it this far.

I waited for some sign of movement, I waited some more & then a little more.

After sitting for so long, I started to get chilled. Not to mention exhausted from my fucking jungle run.

Returning to my leopard position I stalked along the ground towards the front door of what was indeed a church.

Without a sound I opened the door, rushed inside & swiftly shut the door.

I couldn't help but hold my breath for a moment.

Relaxing slightly, I turned around to take in my surroundings. My very old & beautiful surroundings.

This church was at least 600 years old, accounting to the sign which it was built in 1415.

I wish I had more time but it's easy to tell the church was not abandoned due to the lit candles all around.

I raced towards the altar in hopes of finding a door that lead outside.

Instead I found the door to the basement. I flung myself down the stairs.

Once at the bottom I blindly felt around for something that would produce light. After awhile of searching, I gave up.

Slowly I made my way back up the steps to grab one of the candles at the altar.

I creaked the door open to find the room still empty from anyone. Then struck out like a snake & snatched a candle out of its holder.

I climbed back down the stairs & quickly found two lanterns & a box of matches.

Lighting them, I turned my attention of how I could ensure the door leading down here could be locked.

Finding some tools I stuck a screwdriver into the lock & hoped for the best.

Feeling a bit safer I wandered around for a place to sleep. A very old & lumpy mattress was as good as it was going to get.

Settling down I began mauling over all the events that had happened today.

I found out I was being held captive by a psycho lunatic, that he was very much into punishment & that he wanted to make me his partner in crime.

Oh not to mention running for hours on end & what the fuck was up with him planning that dinner?

Ridiculous.
