In the middle of a night, one of those pitch black nights, he was there, under the light of an old damaged streetlight.

He was there, faking modesty, in the light.

He was there, thinking to be the lonliest person ever.

He was there, sure to carry on his back all the bad of this world.

He was there.

The same person who said he wanted to disappear but was the only thing noticiable in that night.

Oh poor little innocent soul! You're so sure to understand the real deep meaning of suffering?

My dear, you have no clue of what it's like to coexist with a persistent melanchony, a darkness that feeds with your pain and grows, incorporating you in an imperishable terror.

He, he was there, sitting picturesquely on the side of the street, waiting for something that may have never come.

He had his glance lost and his eyes jumped quickly from the right to the left. Again and again.

Uselessly looking for the silhouette of that guy he desperately longed to have.

But from that terribly grim black, nothing was shaping.

He was not even able to leave, because in that dense black every demon he ever had would have tried to kidnap him.

So he stayed there looking at the ruined street, counting every single pebble. From the closest to the ones, which already were in the damned land.

And in that moonless night, the only light he could count on was that lonely streetlight, nest of a thoused of flies who, just like him, needed a warm bright home.

«They say home is where your heart is» he whispered softly that motto which did not mean anything anymore, to him.

Cause his heart did not beat anymore.

It had been turned off much earlier on and it did not beat inside his chest anymore.

He lost his heart and with it his home, but he found a new one beating for him.

And look! Look over there!

His black haired moon, coming out from the mantle of fears all around them.

His moon with that amazing shiny smile.

He arrived, finally, he arrived when no one believed in an happy ending anymore.

Dan's eyes brightened up, and his heart, frozen in that night until now so obscure, came back to him along with that guy.

And in that moonless night, he found his own moon, and now he's not afraid anymore.

Therefore the two guys had their own home, even in that black, even in that night lost in the memories of the ones who already lived.

He, he found his moon, but I did not.

And while they walked hand in hand fighting the demons of that night, I stayed in the darkness, still and mute.

Maybe the fears and the monster would not notice me. Maybe I would disappear.

But no, the far sound of a kiss and then nothing. Just that strong darkness that by now had taken possession of me.
